Great show Sammy. I'd be happy with a session like that. Mine are usually full of donuts.

Quote "I'm not even hooking then in the mouth anymore + I can't catch em". Reality is that most fish use there body to "smack their prey" + stun them before eating them. Using lures is different from bait of course when a punter drops a bit of meat and waits...... I used to think I fouled hooked a fish when using lures then through a bit of study I discovered. I had a legitimate catch. Excellent example of lures working. Thanks for the vid fellas. Cheers Gaz

Great overhead footage of the release from the drone. @ about 48:00 I tried to reach in and save your beer, twice, that fall and then that fish flopping around. You guys have too much fun. This is a double plus motivator to get out and enjoy what you can. Nice final fish.

@@SammyHitzkeFishing yea mate, got a couple of decent lizards while we were up there and missed a couple of real big ones. I remember having one smaller one on and a big croc came up behind it I thought it was going to take the smaller hooked Flatty but then just swam off, cool fish for sure.

Notice that Dicko (assume he is right handed) uses his dominant hand to get a real finesse twitch to his plastics. That's a pretty good reason to delegate the left hand to winding duty if you haven't already. Good episode!!

It's taken me more days on the water than I'd care to admit too after 30+ years of being right handed and holding the rod in my left hand and reeling with the righthand to swap over..

Worked in a tackle shops for a few years. Any lure will catch a fish. The manufacturers make all the different colors to catch fisherman....
