Jeremy Renner in Twelve and Holding

Фильм және анимация

A great scene from Michael Cuesta's Twelve and Holding with Annabella Sciorra and Jeremy Renner. This movie made me a Jeremy Renner fan.

This movie was so good! Very sad but an eye opener for how kids are too adult! Jeremy Renner was amazing! Excellent actor! He was extremely damaged from the entire situation he experienced as a firefighter. His character was do messed up! He came in the house drunk and crying in the shower! I was on edge hoping she didn’t touch him! Intense scene!

I love scenes like this where the character tells us what happened without us actually seeing a flashback scene

I remember seeing this seen sooooo many years ago and thinking that this was one of the most beautifully acted scene I've ever seen. Jeremy Renner is such an exquisite actor. I'm so torn between the fact that Jeremy is getting all these big time roles and attention but at the same time it bothers me how he's just getting all these action star roles right now. These meaty character roles always gave him the chance to prove how incredible he really is. My favorite actor, by far.

Wow... 😕 its kinda hard to watch that scene 😕 he's so flawless. Its like he doesn't even have to try, his emotions just flow. Very few actors I've seen can do that 👍

I remember watching this movie a long time ago when I was in high school and thinking it was one of the best films I'd seen in a while. I recently watched it again and had the same reaction. I'd never heard of Jeremy Renner before I saw it, but I was definitely a fan from then on. He's finally getting the recognition he deserves. After being shafted by the Golden Globes let's hope he gets an Oscar nod this year.

This whole film is just so intense and well acted, but this scene has got one of the most powerful and gut wrenching in the entire movie. Jeremy just takes my breath away every time. He's just incredible...

He's always been an amazing actor. I super kudos Kathryn Bigelow for casting the talented Jeremy Renner into The Hurt Locker and for making that film so spectacularly haunting. THL definitely shed major positive light onto Jeremy, so kudos Kathryn.

I didn't know this guy before the Avengers and was like why did they pick him to play Hawkeye, and after seeing some of his movies, I feel that he is such a brilliant actor that his talent is wasted in the Avengers movie, but since Hawkeye has such a complex and rich backstory, I can totally see him kicking ass in the role if Marvel has the sense enough to do a Hawkeye or SHIELD movie and do it right.

Jeremy Renner is such a brilliant actor, and he absolutely rules when it comes to conveying emotion. I hope they give him some good writing in coming movies/series (seems like many good actors go to series now, with the Corona madness going on). In Hawkeye he is great in all his scenes, but they don't focus on his character enough, even though it is supposed to be his show. I am waiting to see what his conversation with Yelena will be like in episode 6 (it has to be there) - I hope the writers can deliver depth worthy of Jeremy's acting skills.

OMG right? I never heard of Renner either but I did watch 12 and holding last night and I saw Bourne Legacy and I'm trying to see more because he is amazing. When he gets to really play a role he really makes you see who his character is. Poor Gus. If they do have a Hawkeye movie they should include Black Widow and what happened in Budapest and how they met for the non comic book people :p I mean come on those 2 are only ones who dont have a freaking movie by themselves

@barws Uh... He was the guy who brought Malee's pain and loneliness to light for her mother, who'd prior to that never really gave her the appropriate attention, therefore helping to tie up Malee's story in the movie? Without him there would be no arc for Malee.

When he says, "I kept telling myself that was the right thing to do," and then follows it with strained stutters.... Isn't that how we all feel when we make a giant decision we are not equipped to make? Or make a moral decision? Or make a decision that seems black and white but isn't?
