Greetings from Japan. Thanks to Gary, I really enjoy watching his performance in Japan. It’s so funny because he looks shy. (It was against my expectation. Hahaha!) His 1st album "TRY MY LOVE" has been chosen as AMAZON'S CHOICE at Amazon.co.jp now. (It's March 26th 2021 now.) You know, 27 or 28 years have passed since 1993. Amazing, JJ! (^^)JJ, stand up again. Don't let your interpreter get confused again. HAHAHAHA! (^^) 19 people has rated now. (I noticed that 7 people rated last year, so 12 people has rated since last year. Congratulations, JJ! ^^)

I was 19 when Jeremy first came out with "The Right Kind of Love." I was a fan as soon as I heard it. I didn't even know he was Guy Perkins on "Never Been Kissed" with Drew Barrymore, until I saw the credits at the end! He is such a talented guy. I hate that he didn't become bigger than what he did. I guess he didn't wasn't willing to play the games that Hollywood wanted him to play!

The great thing about music is that it's universal.. I have met people from other countries who didn't speak a word of English but could sing English songs word for word and not know what they were saying. A friend of mine from Russia said he learned how to sing English songs before he learned the English language. And after he learned English, he said that the songs he liked to sing, he loved singing now because they meant more to him. Jeremy Jordan had the world in the palm of his hand back then and let it all just slip away.

I've seen every episode of Beverly Hills 90210 back in 90's and I have the soundtrack that the The Right Kind of Love is on. I always loved it when they would play the song and the video during the end credits. I would always sing along when it would come on. I love this song and still do today. I know all the words by heart. I will never get tired of this song. Jeremy I've seen your newer videos and you still got it. You really do need to make a comeback. If you ever come to Columbus OH to do a concert, I will definitely come and see you. You can count on that.

In 1993, I did a demo for my uncle in his studio after my mom begged him to see if I had what it took. While he was amazed, he never felt that I could have handled what came with it. Today I'm 40 pushing 41 on July 29th and I would have given everything to blown the roof off places across the globe just to establish my legacy as a vocalist. While I respect Jeremy, I'd have definitely been competition had the only person who broke me instead of made me would've provided me the key to moving forward. Life certainly would be different where instead of battling this crippling depression among other dark and sad feelings, I could have said that at least someone believed in me enough to give me a shot. It would disturb me deeply when people around me would remind me just how well I could sing and perform in my younger years, that over time I have done everything possible to kill and bury that talent. The only time I will sing is when I'm alone and while I'm not anywhere I used to be, I can still hear something trying to escape from within and it kills me even more so. I guess what I'm saying is Jeremy just keep it up homie and live your life brother!

Wow you just described me, except actually taking the opportunity in the studio part with Jeremy himself!! But although I sometimes “regret” not becoming what I could have been and exactly my voice isn’t where it was was although still awesome, the fear or blaming other people I guess is what held me back. But I was young too.. so maybe it’s just the evolution of the soul and the path we’re meant to take in this lifetime (or whatever you believe in) to become better and greater at whatever life’s lesson it was for us to learn. I’m no superstar, I’ve had great struggles since that time of innocence (like we all have) but I look at my son and in that moment I wouldn’t change anything as everything up to that moment brought me to him.

There is something really special about JJ. Love how happy he looks here, he's sweetly shy and amazed by the love. His smile at 4.04 is so genuine and sweet without any pretention or hubris. I'm genuinely sorry for all he's been through, he always comes over as such a lovely, decent person, very deep and honestly amazed /grateful for the love shown him. And what a talent. Outstanding live vocal and epic breath control.

He’s had a really rough life, but is married and singing again. Parents abandoned them young due to drugs, he was sexually abused by a teacher or priest at a boys school and later after he became famous had to testify. He then became addicted to drugs and was homeless. I think his first wife died too. Gained a ton of weight and then through music put his life back together. I think the trauma and fame was too much. It would be for anyone. But he survived!

He didn’t have a choice. When Nirvana kicked Michael Jackson’s Dangerous Album off charts, which was a big example of New Jack Swing music, his record label lost interest in New Jack Swing musicians, such as himself, and dropped him from the label. The record label killed his career because THEY were greedy.
