The thing about the British far right, Reform voters, is that they are very uncomfortable being identified as far right because of the shame their grandparents would rightly have for them. So they deny it and tell you they aren’t. They want to lionise their granddad while supporting the ideology he risked his life fighting against. For evidence see this comment thread. @@theowhite In a first-past-the-post system, how many people vote for you is meaningless if you can't win many seats. Case in point, Reform won 5 seats with 4 million votes, while the Lib Dems won 79 with 3.7. Why? Because they had the majority needed in 79 constituencies, while Reform had a lot of votes in loads of constituencies. In 2019, many people voted for Labour, returning Labour MPs with massive majorities, but in our electoral system, any vote that increases your majority after you win in one constituency is essentially wasted, as it doesn't help you gain more power. Corbyn lost many safe Labour seats because more centrist Labour voters stayed home as they were not convinced by him. While his vote share was high, it wasn't in the right places, and that is how you win an election in this country. As long as we have a first-past-the-post system, the share of votes will never matter, only seats. That is wrong, but I deal with what is, not what I prefer to be. I will campaign for a better voting system, but until then, it is idiotic to harp on about the vote share when our electoral system doesn't care. Also, you have to consider tactical voting. I voted for Labour this election, but due to where I live, my actual vote went to the Lib Dem, as the only option I have is to help avoid getting a Tory elected. So, while I voted for a Labour government, my vote didn't count toward the vote share.

We just want our country to stay British, and by British I mean with British values and customs, it doesn't matter if you're white, black, Asian or whatever! As long as you respect our way of life and our right to live it, in our own country. Stop trying to criminalize being proud to be British, it isn't a crime! It's a privilege!
