That was such fun to see. It challenged me to try it myself. I love WALDORF. I LOVE how It teaches to all styles of learning at the same time.

Higgledy piggledy, my black hen, She lays eggs for gentlemen. Gentlemen come every day To count what my black hen doth lay.

Okay, I'm an ex-childcare provider who's done an awful lot of action songs with kids from PreK to School age, and I found those movements VERY hard to keep track of and remember, because they don't bear any relation to the lyrics. I'm sure if I'd been hit with this as a second grader, I'd have been lost and completely demoralized. Just sayin'.

Yeah - jah! That's why this should be done in every school. We are lost in body control. Isn't it then necessary to practice? It is repeated and repeated over weeks. The matter is not just about the movements. It's about impulse control, balance, coordination eye-hand... Etc. All the above are skills needed to write properly, to live with other people. Sure, some kids would feel frustration the first days, but as time goes by with a carefull teacher they will eventually trust themselves and develope incredible skills. 🌟

It might be confusing to the children when they first started, but with time, they'll do fine and even ask for it. I am speaking from my experience, and my students are not native English-speakers.
