Been hearing this version since the season it premiered, so this whole theme song still continues on, for its 16th season.

Revisiting this since I tend to listen to it on a loop at work to make the time pass. I get what they were trying to do with the current remix (younger generation, gotta be “EPIC” and all that jazz), but there’s a certain craftsmanship to these four or five Chris Bell recordings; if you listen closely at the very beginning, you can still hear the trombone from the original version. That’s not to say that you can’t create a masterpiece with fake instruments, but it *has to* be done with care; the new theme is very good. Either which way, you can pick up on all of the nuances with the live instruments here, and the intro vamp alone evokes “curiosity and knowledge” with its slow start, which is what J! is about. I close my eyes listening to this, and I’m always in a library. I know this was *a lot* of thought, but it’s one of many reasons why this is probably one of my favorite musical compositions ever. ETA: I actually played the intro on my goddaughter’s upright bass.

This song has been around my whole life and i grew up always listening to this song but they just made a new remastered version of this song and it sounds really cool even though I Highly think its a temporary just for the episodes that Mike Richards made because the think music is still playing and I also heard this theme play during the show so I think its a temporary but I'm not sure If they keep playing it then its Definitely a new theme song but its just this theme remastered EDIT: I have now realized, the new remixed 2008 theme is the definite new theme, I wonder how long it will last, and we are close to getting an HD clean version of that song, hopefully we do soon. I like that theme but this one is way better! EDIT AGAIN: We just got the clean HD version of the remixed 2008 theme! It's actually a really cool sounding theme, but I still think this is better tho

I have seen that you have reduced the amount you post, and frankly, that does decrease your risk of termination. @@brockthefragmentationer4129 Hate to tell you this, but the Vault has not added those. The Vault has no 2002 music cues. It doesn't have any of the 2000 ones either (apart from the 2001 opening theme and the 2002 closing theme).

Nah, this is always been the theme I have heard on Jeopardy, I was born after the 2001 theme stopped playing on Jeopardy, so I only grew up on this theme
