I don't really know what just took place, all I know is that I need this to play as I'm about to go to sleep! And from the looks of it, it has something to do with sleep! What? I don't know snsnsn It's like the sand man?! Oh my god ... It just hit me as I'm writing this down!!!
This is what wikipedia is saying about the Sandman: The Sandman is a traditional character in many children's stories and books. In Scandinavian folklore, he is said to sprinkle sand or dust on or into the eyes of children at night to bring on sleep and dreams.[1] The grit or "sleep" (rheum) in one's eyes upon waking is the supposed result of the Sandman's work the previous night.
Is that what it is all about?! My mind just exploded, lol Same thing as when I realized that NOX (who's the roman goddess of the night) sounds almost like knocks ... like when they're knocking on the door!!! This is actually brilliant!
The song is really nice, not revolutionary, but I can see myself listening to it often, it's got an air of mystery to it, it's slower so a bit more sultry and the guitar really spices things up in my opinion!
Would love to see Shownu X Hyungwon and Jeonghan X Wonwoo happen! Like I swear I have a vision snsnsn

You are wrong they were not an official sub unit BooSeokSoon was the first to actually be announced as an official sub unit please read my comment above and it will tell you the different groupings and pairings since debut in order of how they came

Jeonghan is trying to make everyone escape from reality and direct them to the dream world. He puts everyone to sleep and imprisons them in dreams. He enters everyone's dreams because he is afraid of being forgotten. Then he forgets his original purpose and drives people away from life, even if it is not pure evil and when Wonwoo realizes this, he goes after Jeonghan and then brings Jeonghan and everyone back to reality.
There are simply no words.. This song and the whole album are so amazing ❤

as a non carat , this might be the best song of them from their sub units
ikr, i seriously need them to have europe tour! When it is announced that they're coming to Berlin for Lollapalooza, i bought the ticket straight away and as far as i know, most of the people buying the tickets are carats :c i am still manifesting their european concert though! let's always be hopeful!!!!

I read it somewhere that they try it once but it did not get that much attention. However it was a way back then, the fandom truly growing bigger for the past few months. Hope they try it again

actually the first that was officially called a sub unit was BooSeokSoon but there was several unofficial ones before that Q&A by Vernon S,coups and Woozi was the first My I Jun & The 8 Change up Woozi, Hoshi S.Coups deemed the Leaders Unit Rocket Vernon & Joshua Bittersweet Mingyu and Wonwoo Just Do it BooSeokSoon 2 Minus 1 Vernon and Joshua Cheers Woozi SCoups Hoshi Fighting BooSeokSoon then of course this aong with Jeonghan and Wonwoo
I'm in the US, but it makes me so mad that they haven't toured Europe. Their European tour got canceled because of Covid, so they should have made it up by now. Unfortunately, Woozi said that the members want to go everywhere even if they don't make as much money, but Hybe/Pledis doesn't care. Even for the US tour, I'm not expecting it because they mentioned starting a new tour early in the year, then it was summer and now they say end of the year. I bet they will prioritize Asia again like they did last year.

From what i saw in the comments of carats in different reaction videos, Nox is another name for Nyx, the goddess of night which also means darkness/night in latin( they are basically empathising the song at the same time). It was also used in Harry Potter as a spell to turn the lights off, which I'm not sure has anything to do with the use of the word here but it's fun to think so. 😂
