You my man. Sometimes people just want to be offended because someone said they should be offended. Jack was literally outing himself as an ex-wh0re for being a certain way with the ladies in the past and now wanting the girl on the phone to give him a chance if she was willing to. I heard consent being asked by both men. But hey, maybe it's just me.

@@xxxx-rx7co He didn't explicitly say it but the first verse is all in past tense. And he also said "I done put these shrooms to good use" which to me sounded like he's put those behaviours to rest. Different from the second verse which is present / future. Like I said, it could just be me.

There's always going to people mad just to be mad or because a certain group told them to be. Lol. The majority of people love the song. Jk is a grown man talking about grown man things and if he didn't love it, Jack's bars wouldn't have been a part of the song. I absolutely love it! Also, I love that Jam Republic is in this performance video as well as the dancer's from Seven.

This song wasn't made for everyone in the world, there will always be someone who will have a different view and that's why Jungkook said something like "only listen to my music if you like it". The song is very good, I loved it and I didn't find it problematic because Jack was calling himself a loser and at every point the song says "if you leave me", I understand that many people won't like this new Jungkook because of a vision they created of him.

your last sentence really is spot on. plenty of people especially newer fans seem to have this fantasy image of jungkook and how he's the innocent maknae, once he does things that shatters that image they have of him they start rioting. It baffles me because ppl are fine reading fanfics of 'badboy' jk but once he actually dabbles with music that is of this image, they suddenly cannot take it lol. i also see many of the criticisms are of jack's verse but c'mon it's such a fun verse and it's just music at the end of the day, they lyrics are not meant to be literal. jk's having fun, there's the alternate version released as well so just listen to the version u want

@@peachsoba2592 They created an image of him as an angel or as a member's boyfriend, so when he talks about kissing or making love with a girl it becomes a problem for them, saying "fuck" "girl" "you know what I like girl" for them it's an insult, but at the same time they read fanfics that he's a badboy and that they're super fetishists, they have an image of him as if he were someone who could be manipulated or who needed others to help him with everything. As long as they think he's a child, he will be attacked by antis and his own "fans".

the whole song was smooth and such a vibe. I think jack's part was commentary on himself being a man-hoe on the 1-2-3-4. He definitely broke the LDR part of the intention of the song more detailed. Overall JK is just telling (and has been telling through his lives too) that he's a grown man and wants to show sides of him that we really weren't privy to in his terms as he learns through his solo experience. Personally just enjoying his creative freedom and just have fun w/ music

All the Jack Harlow hate. I get it, there is a language berried and he uses explicit lyrics. But he writes like a poet, his lyrics are not literal. Think of it like you’re reading Shakespeare for the first time. If you’ve ever heard his song gang gang gang, you would understand. I’ll try and Harlow-splain for you. He’s talking to a girl long distance and is wanting to meet in person. That’s what they both are referring to!! I’m on my Jung Kook (Jung Kook is amazing, like a drug) Take a chick off one look And when they get took They don’t ever get untook ( I can charm you with just a look and once you like me you always will) When I seen that body you would think it was a Dead body The way I told my boys come look (I showed my friends your picture and they think you are so beautiful it’s scary ) I used to take girls up to Stony Brook. And steal they hearts like some crook True story ( I use to steal a lot of hearts when I was younger) Now when I hold somebody’s hand it’s a new story ( Now I’m trying to be more serious) All my ABGs get cute for me I had one girl, too boring Two girls, that was cool for me Three girls, damn dude’s horny Four girls, okay now you’re whoring ( I use to be a womanizer ) (Hey hey hey) hey I’m loose I done put these shrooms to good use ( But now I’m free of that life ) I done put my city on my back And the world know my name I’m the truth ( Now I want to represent my city and be well known) I got you playing with yourself on camera ( you keep sending me seductive pictures ) You my bae, just like Tampa ( But I really like you, I like you as much as football , referring to the Tampa bay buccaneers ) Speaking of bucks I got those, and as for fucks well not those ( I have the money and I don’t care what anyone else thinks) And as for thoughts well do you really wanna know? I thought so I’ll fly you from Korea to Kentucky (So let me fly you here so we can meet in person) And you ain’t gotta guarantee me nothing I just wanna see if I get lucky ( I have no expectations but let’s meet to see if it works out) I just wanna meet you in the physical and see if you would touch me ( Let’s meet in real life so you can see if you would be interested in me)

I personally don't like it, as a woman it makes me cringe a lot, lyrics and visuals in the video, with all the girls in a row like his puppets. And I think JK was aware that it was going to happen, because why would he release an alternative version without his part otherwise? Anyways, I have the alternative version on my playlist on repeat, that's the good one for me.

Guess it's safe to bring back the War Of Hormones!🤣🤣 I feel like "3D" is about two men and their differing views on how they approach consensual intimate relationships with women. Their playing chess is like a metaphor for that. Jack singing in "past tense" seems to regret his ways and the women he speaks of DO NOT represent all women, but women who cater to him (the ones that exist in his world). Although Jack seems to want to change, the damage is done and the ending is telling as his approach to convincing his lady ends with rejection (hence the dial tone). We live in an age where people become triggered by certain words even when the word does not apply and I see neither JK nor Jack "hating or showing an ingrained prejudice against women", which is the definition of misogyny. There is no evidence of that. Back in the day, this song would be called "begging" or baby making music"... With that being said... it's time for BTS to bring back WAR OF HORMONES. That is my jam!!!! BTS got in trouble for that one too....even though it was the GIRL who followed all the 7 members into a dark gymnasium to MAKE her CHOICE (People literally ignore the female empowerment in that one scene).

I'd say one think. Its always gonna be a "problem" whenever boys release something. There's always ppl who get offended, it happened with DNA, then Boy With Luv, then Dynamite-Butter-Ptd, then the boys' releases (hobi and Tae solo songs cartering to specific audiences, jimin and jungkook solo being too "western" etc)

So as a women I liked both Jack's and Jungkooks verses and they did sound good together. I love 3D and Seven but more 3D when it comes to the visual and overall sound buut even if I like Jack's verse imma say I like Lotto's verse a little bit more when it comes to rap. But both Jack and Jungkook were awesome 😅😊

I don't think the misogynistic lyrics are JK's. It's Jack's. The "dead body" and "ABG" bits aren't cool & I really could do without his feature which is probably why they already released the Alternate (no Jack) version along with this

The dead body line was a reference to the movie Boyz in the hood with famous quote ”y'all wanna see a dead body?" basically saying that the girl was so bad that he had to get his friends to come look, it's wordplay he's not trying to be weird 💀

@@MxK18that context doesn't sound like it's making it better tbh, but I don't know the movie so I might be picturing way worse than it is from your description, but calling your friends to look bc a girl was bad (in bed, I'm assuming here, if not, would love for you to clarify on that and fully open to potentially change my opinion on it) sound hella creppy and shitty to me... But honestly, I don't get all the hate either, if you don't like Jack's part just listen to the alternate version and let the people who enjoy it enjoy it in peace.
