JEON SOMI's mother is Korean and father is Dutch-Canadian. She participated in SIXTEEN and PRODUCE 101. She won the 1st place in produce 101. She was in a girl group called 'I.O.I'. She was supposed to debut with ITZY but she was replaced with YUNA. She has friends in different groups like TWICE, AB6IX, CLC and BLACKPINK. She has a black belt in taekwondo. She debuted in 2019 with 'BIRTHDAY' M/V.

fYI: Somi is her first name and Jeon is the family name, however her real name is Ennik Douma. This is a typical name from the north-east of the Netherlands. Having also the Dutch nationality is very helpful when traveling to Europe. This month she will travel to Milan for the Prada spring fashion show and she doesn’t require a visa when showing her Dutch passport. Passing customs will be easy. As a Dutch citizen you can live and work in all EU countries without any restrictions.

All of the groups somi was in were temporary project groups. She won the first season of produce 101 and became the center of IOI. After IOIs promotions ended she was on a bunch of different variety shows, two of which centered around creating temporary girl groups. Both Unnies and Girls Next Door were made up of already established idols/celebrities so they were almost more like collabs than actual groups
