Anyone else remember when Jensen was too shy to sing? Now he’s standing up there, singing songs that almost always sound better than the original, with legit rock stars, and keeping up with them at every note.

Yeah, I remember the first ever SPN con here in the UK, he got up with Jason Manns and did Crazy Love but I swear his voice was nowhere near this strong back then.

I've scoured the interwebs to find his first singing appearances for the fandom, the one back in 2007 at Asylum is the first I know about, and he was singing with Jason Manns, but just as backup. And he was so cutely nervous about that, even! Then in 2010 he finally sang again with Jason Manns, but he sang a lot of it by himself - for the first time! (that I know of). Manns kind of set him up for it and the fans helped him do it. Again he was very cutely nervous and looking at Manns for reassurance. He was so good back then and we were able to see the promise of what he could do. Finally, in 2014 he sang again at a convention. A couple times just as little fun stuff during/at the end of a panel transition, with the Louden Swain (sp?). And then again at the same convention he just decided to pop in to do 2 songs where some fans were hanging out. That was the very first time he actually did it totally on his own. For the fans he finally realized how much it would mean to us. He again was pretty nervous, but you could tell he was starting to accept that it is something the fans really do love. So, finally in 2015 he started singing "for real" with Louden Swain at the conventions and finally seemed to accept that it was okay and not shadowing the musicians and other "professional" singers. That everyone really did want him to sing and enjoyed his singing. He still stayed humble about it. So, I love seeing him now. Fully able to get into the songs and belt them out. I love seeing him enjoying himself!

The whole band looked so freakin' pumped. I don't think I've ever seen Jensen so animated while singing, and Corey's voice: amazing. Wish I coulda been there!

Thanks to the person who shared this and to Jensen for kicking ass on Wanted!! I’m a HUGE Bon Jovi fan who is unable to go see them in concert. This just made my day!! I’m crying and smiling all at the same time!! I think that I am going to put this on my phone for keeps!! Keep the Faith baby!!

I was a huge Bon Jovi fan back then, but this was even better than the original. These guys were on fire!

So I am like in heaven when I attend one of Corey's concerts (not many, being in Europe...) and I would totally freak out in a SPN if I could go. This mix is just... unreal. I hate myself for not being there to live this unique moment, but probably I would have died of a heart attack at that moment, so maybe it is for the best... (The fact that these two are friends is just so freaking awesome, like, I can't believe it).

Thank you so much for posting this!! Every time Jensen says he's not a musician we all just point to performances like this. Jensen and Corey sound so wonderful together!

Of course they would. Corey is one of the best vocalists in the world today, and he's not gonna get up there with just any old karaoke night loser. If he's up there it means he recognizes that Jensen's at least decent, and you put even mediocrity up there with that man and it's going to come out amazing.

OMG! Always been a fan of Slipknote and Stonesour was my first solo concert, like with out any parents (even though my dad was backstage and got to meet Corey and got me a guitar pic) I would have freaked out at this convention!!! Like full blown tears no joke lol.

Laika Shinobi He's actually the lead singer of Louden swain (the band corey taylor and jensen are singing with) but he lets people come up and sing at spn cons, in this case corey and jensen
