Jared had a breakdown this time around and couldn't do the European cons - Jensen was worried as fuck and kept calling home all the time to check on him. The fans who were there said he was calling to check on Jared by taking break in between whenever he could and looked distracted - he got choked up for this solo panel and was talking about Jared in other panels too. This year Jared made it to JIB and it was emotional and Jensen was wearing his 'Always keep fighting shirt' and hugged Jared on his tippy toes when he talked about last year. Relationship goals.

I agree he’s a multitalented person, and very impressive…..but…..Please remember he’s only human…..no one is perfect. Until you live with someone, you never truly know them! 😂

It hurts me so much to see Jensen like this. For someone who has quite a tough exterior, seeing him pretty much crying on stage is so moving for me. Knowing that he was scared sick of Jared's state as well just adds to this. It's so beautiful how much they love and care for each other. I'm so glad Jared's feeling a lot better now and to anyone going through difficult times, always keep fighting x

Sapphire Cromwell Jared had to cancel coming to this con because he was feeling 'exhausted' - he suffers from severe depression and was going through a depressive stage so he went back home to spend some time with his family. According to people at the con, Jensen was calling during breaks to check up on him. Thankfully his mood improved and as far as I know he's back to his normal self at the moment. This video is just so moving seeing Jensen so pained and not knowing how Jared was going to be. Hope this makes it clear :)

***** As someone who's "suffered SEVERE depression for 15 years.." you should be well aware that depression isn't a direct cause of what you do or do not have, how lucky you are or are not, how much money you have or do not have, how loved you are or are not and so on. Fundamentally depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain when mood-related chemicals such as dopamine and seratonin are low. Yes other factors can and do effect depression and assist in it's onset however to suggest that an individual doesn't have the right to feel depressed because on the outside their life seems wonderful; because as you so put it "They are always doing... what they love to do" is extremely degrading, superficial and naive. As a 19 year old who has suffered depression since 16 and was only brave enough to seek help after over a year of suffering in silence for reasons such as I didn't want to 'bother' my family, i didn't feel worthy of help, the stigma behind depression in society alongside the lack of knowledge and acceptance society had/has of depression and a big reason which was caused by individuals like you; I was fighting a constant battle between telling myself "you deserve to feel this way" and "you don't deserve to be depressed look at all that you have: a good family, private school, excess of money etc.. you should be ashamed because so many people have it worse" with the latter being almost exactly what you are implying in your comment above. I have all the time in the world to bring attention to the widespread and deeply misunderstood issue of mental illness, however I do not have enough time to criticize you on the many incorrect and ridiculous points you've stated above. I am by no means wishing to start a fight, however I am asking you to reevaluate your stand point on Jared's struggle with depression (and furthermore any other privileged individual fighting depression who you seem to deem 'unworthy' of depression). Maybe firstly by looking back over your 'Abundance List' and asking yourself if by "being loved by millions of women with beautiful souls" is going to for one alter any chemical imbalance present and two magically over ride any current or past hurtful/sad/heartbreaking etc experience in Jared's life which may currently be or has been a contributing factor effecting his state of mind. Or how about point 3 "Absolutely No Stress", if there were any place to start I'd say it would be with this one. I just want to reiterate that the de-stigmatization of depression needs to be constantly addressed and supported and finally that what everyone needs to realise is the symptoms of depression are mostly invisible, individuals have good and bad days, and very importantly that people with depression need support, love, compassion and validation because depression is real and hard and exhausting and is by no means selective nor aware of privilege, class, gender, race and so on.

I really appreciate your comment. I was trying to show her how off the mark she was and did a lousy job of it. She seemed angry and full of resentment to me. It felt that she was still depressed to me, but who knows, may justed to needed be acknowledged for the pain she endured or is enduring. I hope you are doing well and I am going to add you.

Before my grandpa passed, this was his favorite song. Now one of my favorite people are singing this song and it warms my heart. Keep on being you Jensen.

I still watch this now that we know Jared is ok, but every time I see this it makes me love these wonderful men even more. They are such a tight nit family, it gives me joy inside. They bring so much hope and happiness to us , the SPNFamily, that I just hope that they take as much care with themselves. Thank you Jensen, Jared, Misha and Mark! You all have made such an impact on mine and so many others lives!

Being without his wife on their anniversary, then what happened to Jared, Jensen is a big loving guy too and he clearly loves his wife, and both loves and misses his little brother. If it was never thought of as official, it is now. His eyes are so damp and sad, but he's trying to hold his own. Apparently he kept calling every chance he got to Austin to check on Jared, I think to his wife, cause I heard that she is with Gen and Jared to help out with their kids since Jared is not well right now.. So sad, but I've never seen such a loving older brother like Jensen, hugs to both of them.

Jared had a breakdown and went home to Austin to get we'll and so pulled out of the European and Australian cons. To get Jared's side of it read his chapter in the 'family don't end with blood book.' He talks about what happened.

Jensen nearly cracked up there..He was so emotional..Jared man,stay safe...We got your back...

There are no words for this man’s amazing talent but you can see the tears starting to come to his eyes when he mentions Jared and you can tell it kills him that he’s not there..😭😭😭 it’s okay I’m crying too

I literally can't breathe. As soon as he started singing I felt like it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever heard. And then he sang "missing my _brother_ Jared" and I don't even know what anymore. The tear in my left eye doesn’t NEARLY do justice to what I am feeling right now!!! I am internally screaming and just want to hug them both tight to make these tears in Jensen's eyes and Jared's depression to go away. I know this video is already older and that, to my knowledge, Jared is doing alright at the moment. And even though these phases can always happen again, I know that Jensen will always be there for Jared, and vice-versa. They are true brothers, and their relationship is one of the most inspiring and beautiful things I have ever seen.

Guys i think Jensen Sold his soul because no one can naturally be this perfect!!!

Kelsie Slagle Jared was suffering from severe depression, and had to pull out of the convention to be with his family for a while to help make sure he was ok. No one really knew how bad things were going to be for a while, but thankfully Jared's mood improved, and he is doing better now.

I hope this isn't true, but I did hear that Jared has been receiving a lot of hate from certain people because Charlie died. They blame Sam for her death. They need to get a life, grow a brain and realize that Jared Padalecki did not write that script. Felicia Day has a book deal and a book tour, and she wasn't able to commit to the show. Writer Robbie Thompson said he went to the Powers That Be and told them there was a way to write Charlie out without killing her, and the PTB said no, so Charlie had to go. SPN is known for killing off characters when the actors can't commit to the show. It's happened time and time again, with Gordon, Ellen, and others. Charlie Bradbury was no different than the rest of the supporting characters.
