Jennifer Roback Morse: Loneliness and True Love: The Fallout from the Sexual Revolution...

Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse explains the damaging effects of the sexual revolution that has occurred since the 1950s. She argues that the advent of "no-fault" divorce has resulted in a radically impaired perception of marriage and a loss of personal freedom. Dr. Morse urges her listeners to remember the children of these broken marriages, who often experience the most damage.

The real problem is everybody has their own meaning of what love is. but nobody has the whole, complete, true meaning of what love is. love was here before we came and love will be here after we leave so we should STOP TRYING to CHANGE LOVE. Love is not sex, money, gifts, seeing naked ladies, or even sacrificing your life. Like society in hollywood and tv tell us. This is love: ... 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 NLT If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless. When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love. God bless you and may you find TRUE LOVE.

You're absolutely right. If I use the word love in the can define what that term means. And that is a huge issue. It's clear to me that people mean basically two totally different things by the word love. One is about selfishness, one is about caring about the other person. Someday I'll share my definition

It's not about amicable divorce. It's about the devastation caused by no-fault divorce or any divorce and especially remarriage, where one or both of the parents remarry and start a new family, leaving the 1st children stranded between families without any ownership. It's about the mistaken notion that divorce does not affect the children or at least not in any deep and lasting way. LIES LIES LIES society has been selling us for the last 40 years!

It may be a platitude, but it's not a tautology, because maturity and age are not the same.

She is certainly NOT the only one complaining. You are too brainwashed to even allow another point of view and experience into your echoing brainless skull.
