While her dress was provocative, compare to a lot of the others there, It was very tame. JLo tends to dress provocatively for public appearances like this. But she's usually just shy of outright vulgar. As she was this time, in my opinion. Some of the other women there could learn from her on that point.

@@WatReallyGuud There's a theme to every Met Gala. So the attendees' attired should look different each year. My point was that her attire this year, especially compared to some of the other people there, was really not that revealing, or crazy looking. She does occasionally wear something that is a fashion flop. But not as often as a lot of the other women, and men. I don't watch these kinds of shows. But I invariably see the different ones because every online feed runs them nonstop. Frankly, the only people I saw that looked really nice, and normal, was Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana. Their look was timeless. He, in a black tux and bowtie, Luci in a gorgeous white column gown reminiscent of old Hollywood with it's scarf that wove around her neck to her back, to the front to cover the bust-line, and tied at the back of her waist. If I'm not mistaken, her dress was a Dior. Both wore minimal accessories. Her choice of bracelets added to the Grecian goddess look of the dress. They looked very classy. Everyone else I saw either looked like they were headed to a costume party, or to the nearest strip club to work a pole. I'm not saying there were no other people who looked nice. Just that I didn't see any. Which is my preference, and why I don't watch those types of shows. 🤷🏼‍♀

Girl.. The way she was talking at the Met gala about how it's such a great event because every demographic is there and it's so rare to have every kind of person in the same space... You really should paint all actors/actresses and other performers with the same brush as those who are committing nefarious crimes. There are much better dresses!!!!

At some point, someone needs to be honest with her, and tell her that the squinty-eyed, half duck-lip pout isn't attractive on anybody. Especially not someone her age. One thing I can and will say about JLo, is that if she has had any cosmetic work done, it doesn't show. Which tells me she either doesn't feel she needs it, and I would agree, or she has had the bare minimum done, which shows a great deal of self control. Something she seems to have in spades. Which isn't a bad thing in her business. I have nothing against her. I'm not a fan either. And as far as how hard she works, she's the only one I've ever heard that from. In fact, she goes on about it so much, that I have to wonder when she has the time to work so hard. Vocally she's pretty average. Her real talent is dancing. But even there, she isn't choreographing is she? I believe Aussie choreographer Parris Goebel does her choreography. Which makes her dancing less impressive. And when you add how she snipes at other female artists, especially other Latina artists, she just isn't as great as she thinks she is. Don't get me wrong. She's good. But constantly boasting about herself while undercutting other women, pretty much negates a lot of her accomplishments, for me. She's done some acting, and again, not bad but not great. As for the dress, it was lovely. And she is obsessed with keeping her body fit and trim - which isn't a bad thing in my opinion - so she absolutely can pull off that dress, when a lot of other women her age couldn't. What's more, while it was provocative, it wasn't overtly immodest. There's a big difference between sensual and sexual. Between provocative and vulgar. Jennifer usually nails it. As she did this time. So kudos to her there. Perhaps other female artists could learn something from her in that regard.
