Check the raw vocals, its on KZread, Ashanti is merely doing backing vocals and she got credited for that. You must be deaf not hearing its all Jlo on the verses and mostly on the chorus since her speaking voice is so similar to her singing voice.

Thank Ashanti. Ashanti recorded most of these songs before they gave them to JLo to sing on. Always grew up with the radio thinking this & I'm real was Ashanti. If u listen to Memorize she has the same grit & softness, so it was easy for them to throw it to J Lo who can barely sing. Then go listen to "All I have" & hear how bad her parts are. There Is A Version Of This Song Without Caddillac Tah. Is That Version With Only Ja Rule Rapping Rare? Did Ashanti Really Sing The Background Vocals? Dan Jun Yes indeed. That's one of her biggest jams ever too, so it def deserves those 50 million. I think people might think this 'Ain't It Funny' isn't the Murder Remix version, which is actually the version that got to #1 on the charts.

naokohunter Just cuz it got to #1 in 2002 doesn't mean it aged well. There are plenty of #1s that were forgotten. J.L have few #1s but those that aren't are her signature songs like Jenny From The Block.
