She's actually really lucky to be where she's at. She dropped out of school. Only going to school up until 7th grade.

She's misremembering her speech. She did forget David O. Russell but she thanked the cast and crew of Silver Linings Playbook and it wasn't a "random person" that she wished happy birthday, it was the legendary actress Emmanuelle Riva she was nominated with and it happened to be her birthday that night of the Oscars, it was actually very nice of her. No idea how she forgot that.
