The pain and sincerity in her voice made me well up. Depression is horrible, so I connected with her immediately. I like old souls partly because I have been told since I was 15 that I am an old soul. Too bad it also comes with pain and suffering. Jennifer, you will be a huge success. If you like her voice, you might also enjoy Iris Dement. She has a very similar tone and style. I especially love her song "Our Town". I'd love to hear Jennifer Jeffries sing it someday.

Her lyrics are so powerful, and I love her voice singing them. So much raw honesty- she’s brilliant and way beyond her years.

Hands down best performance of the night. A couple others were outstanding but this was in class by itself.
