I am taken back by all the comments on how rude the lady worker was. I thought she was direct and clear. Although not a ray of sunshine, she did need to be clear to all the kids so that the product was protected. As you can clearly see, her attitude had no affect on Jennifer's experience. The price was clearly posted as 40 cents a letter so I knew long beforehand how much this would be. I hope everyone who visits Niagara Falls has a chance to visit Ripley's wax museum on Clifton hill.

It's the way she handled Jennifer's arm! It was in fact aggressive! She had no expression on her face that would make me want to get my hand waxed, and if I did as soon as she started aggressively holding and moving my arm I would have been done.

+Kaylan Flowers if you have ever been to a nail salon,they can sometimes come off a tad aggressive but in fact they just need you to position your hand and they don't mean to come off rude they are just straight forward. I think its the same situation here.

I don't think the lady was rude at all, she was doing her job to get people through the line, she just wasn't very sociable. Maybe she was having a bad day.

customer service is still a must when dealing with customers. I don't care how much a customer doesnt listen, there is no excuse for rudeness. I have found in my 20 years of service that kindness and a smile can help someone listen. Obviously this woman doesn't not like her job and doesn't enjoy anything about it. she should be behind a desk not dealing with the public.

I wouldn't say the Lady was rude, just extremely unfriendly. When you work in public you should be friendly and do your best to make the customers feel comfortable. She was almost forceful when dipping the girls hand. I guess it does get repetitive and boring for the sales associate, but this should be a fun memory for the customer. Not just something that's felt rushed. As long as the girl and her family were happy then that's all that matters though.

If that was my daughter I would have gave that lady a piece of my mind. She shouldn't have a fun job if she's a prude

While the lady could have been nicer, they deal with people all day who don't do exactly what they say and ruin the entire hand. I've never met anyone who does this who is overly nice about it because they do get tired of dealing with people who don't pay attention all day. Or people they tell the price of something who doesn't listen then gets angry when its not the price they wanted it to be. So it may seem rude but if they don't give people idiot directions there's ALWAYS going to be someone that messes everything up. Usually its nothing personal.

+shaggyzaccy I have worked customer service for years. If you're the type of person who lets people impact your mood, you should look into a different kind of job. I try my best to treat people well because the odds are that it's their first go round on something and nobody wants to have some grumpy sourpuss ruin that.

I don't think the lady was being rude, although I have a question,did she sick that girls hand in cool water first because that's dangerous to stick someone's hand into hot wax without cold water first

Before I even read any comments I kept thinking that the lady was snappy and just not pleasant. I mean if you watch her she even slammed the wax stirrers in the buckets. And I also think she should've been more clear on the prices of the lettering prices. Anyway, if you're gonna be working in customer service you need to be pleasant and nice to people...just saying.

I just went to the wax museum a week or so ago when I was staying in Niagara it was were cool I thing everyone should go there even if you font get a wax hand it's still fun to watch the make the hands

The worker was a bit rude! I get that she dealt with people all day and some people especially kids do not listen all the time but at the same time it's her job. No matter what you should never be rude to customers after all it's why you still have a job.

that's what I was thinking just cuz someone doesn't smile all the time or is making all this small talk doesn't mean they're rude. Different personalities equals different workers. Working fast isn't rude. Not smiling all the time isn't rude. We aren't robots. Sometimes working for hours straight doing the same thing gets repetitive and boring get over it people.

I wouldn't say rude.. Because she is just being blunt but precise about her instructions. But coming from working in customer service for 15 yrs, I would never treat someone so ... Trying to think of the best word .. Frigid? I don't know why people go into a customer service based job when it seems like you don't actually like being courteous or pleasant to people.
