That is wicked that she dug Astronomy! It was one of my favorite courses in college. She is classy here.

Her level of intellect even at this age and the range of topics she knows about is amazing. I watch most of her interviews thru the years and she absorbs so much knowledge and conveys it effortlessly. I wish she were our VP today, she could easily become our first woman POTUS.

I'm a little late to the party but, I've always been a big fan of Jennifers, I always thought she came across pretty smart, now I know why, she actually went to college and studied something other then say drama or music or something, but actual science even! She is one of those people who actually get better with age, both in looks and in the way they speak and act! Bette was my favorite character in The L Word, sure I liked Shane, like everyone else, but Bette was my true favorite! Though I am sure that was mostly because Jennifer Beals played her, lol!

I love how soft spoken, honest, and feminine Beals is in this interview. Essentially being comfortable as a woman instead of pretending to be like a man as modern day women often do. I think she reflects women in general in the early 80s. If she spoke like that today she would be accused of having low self esteem and confidence issues. I think modern day feminist have done more harm to women than men have in the last 30 years.
