    this is so painful to watch, she is obviously hurting a lot about her past, very emotional, and when you consider what happened after this with her marriage break up, its very very sad.....i really love her as an actress and a person because she seems very much down to earth despite the fame.

    Yeah, she was definitely *never* a part of Hollywood or one of those celebrities who let their fame get the best of them. It explains why also the tabloids have been so tough and mean on her. Picking on what seems to be the weakest, as in she never really was an insider. Correctly pointing out she is very down to earth. Good riddance that on a positive note the relationship between her and her mother was restored after the divorce from Brad. It helped getting back together.

    This is awful. Her father left her and her mother for another woman. And then brad did the same thing. But her strength outshines their stupidity and lack of empathy. She's truly an incredible person.

    @carmonkey Yeah, no denying. Back in the 90's when she was with other boyfriends before Mr. Pitt, she expressed her desire for motherhood very dearly. Also, it is true that in 2004 after Friends had come to an end that Mr. Pitt told Jennifer that he had strong and irresistible feelings for Angelina. He neither liked the concept of marriage and wanted to get out of it. This was already at an early stage in 2002 and 2003 or so. The both did their best to make it work, but it was a smart move by Jennifer to not have a baby and force Mr. Pitt to stay with her as a consequence.

  • @dvchel

    @dvchel

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@laurieepstein453 You can definitely understand why she isn't as open and tell-all in interviews anymore today. There was a brief period where she was between 2008 and 2011 or so after her divorce with Mr. Pitt. However, after she and Theroux began dating in 2011, all of a sudden the fake news media was preying on her marriage and pregnancy rumors etc. and she began to get more silent about it in interviews as a consequence. Exerting this kind of pressure is disappointing.

    I’m rewatching these and just realising how awful Diane treated Jen. At the start of part one you could tell she was already emotional before the interview started, like at the time FRIENDS was coming to an end and she would be practically losing a 10 year relationship with the cast, Brad was more absent from her life which ended in a divorce. I honestly feel so bad for Jeniffer even thought though was nearly two decades ago. This is an awful interview it shouldn’t even be considered an interview.... it’s more like a “Make Jennifer Aniston sad as she’s going through a hard time in her life” by Diane Sawyer

    Her mother should have been the bigger person, the adult with the more wisdom. She should have been there for her daughter, as that is a mother's task for as long as she lives, and she should have never , EVER, brought personal information on her daughter into the world against her daughter's explicit wishes. The mother ruïned the trust and has until today never apologized, and the daughter now tries to deal with that. How the hell is she suppose to forgive her mother for that? Seriously?

But I remember she saying that when friends ended she would have a family with Brad, but how's that if Brad was already filming with Angie ? And then, took her so long to finally find Justin... maybe That’s not her fault, maybe she really wanted to have kids, maybe u should not judge her without knowing a shit about her life ;)

    What is so striking here is that knowing Jen was a the precipice of what was to come with her first husband, she was at all times during this interview on the brink of tears. There must have been tumult in her marriage at this time, her emotions were so surfaced here. And what was to come in her (then) marriage must have really broken her heart. Something says to me (he) was emotionally unavailable for awhile, prior to the breakup. She appears so fragile here. Very different today. So glad, she deserves it. Love her.

    I really can't see why Diane had to show her these painful pictures.. Jen is an amazing person and she doesn't deserve to be sad.. And by reminding her that her mom told her, that her mom thought twher nose was to big, and her eyes was to close to each other. Diane obviously wasn't completely clear in her hed or either she's just cruel. Jen shouldn't be the one to apologize. Diane should. That was a terrible terrible interview. Probably there were a lot of fighting she then moved in with her friends. By time she's 20, she moved in with her dad in LA to purse her career as an actress. I've been in her shoes, I totally get it and where she's coming from. Parents damage their kids so much, just up and leaving. And her mom probably was in pain and took it out on her daughter. The mom sounds like a narcissistic personality. Why would she bring the book, so awful...and Jen just keeps complimenting her mom.

    During this time, she was prolly having bits and pieces of problems with Brand. And he was already making the movie with Angie.. So speaking abt her mom prolly made it worse. As a women u want and need ur mom their. To help with thoughts tuff times. And knowing that there isn't any relationship there must hurt her.

    The more I learn about you, see not just the funny, always upbeat you, I am so in awe of you and the deeper person I never realized was you. I also had a mother who was beautiful when she was younger and also we had problems when I was in high school trying to find my way. My mother though gave me no advice or guidance and never could comfort me when I hurt or experienced loss or rejection. I found now that I'm 60 years old the only thing that will ever fill any void, loss or emptiness you ever feel is having and getting to know God in the person of Jesus Christ! He took my suffering and pain away and filled me with a eternal love I can never lose. no matter how hard or painful life is, He helps you get through it, He will never abandon you or lead you in a path to bring you harm, but you have to let Him in your heart so he can bless you, receive the power to truly forever forgive and His strength to get to the end of your life and gain entrance into Heaven! I love you Jen, you are a brave truly good good person who has been through too too much. mm

    It is hard to watch ... Jen is my favorite, she was clearly trying to protect herself. Both her parents are clearly narcissists... she has to be strong to protect herself. I can totally relate.

    Now I understand where all these trouble of being in relationship comes from. For what her father did she feels rejection and is in fear of keeping relationships. It's almost like the trades you would see in someone with Borderline personality Disorder. What's even interesting there are many celebrities who suffer from BPD and the book to see the names in is called I hate you don't leave me. Very interesting documentary.

    I’m not pro Diane Sawyer but I’ve been with a therapist before and I feel like that’s what she’s acting as while she’s talking to Jennifer. I do however agree that this should not have been televised more so a private thing, but I see all the hate comments and how people think that Diane enjoys making the situation as uncomfortable as possible but like I said from my previous experiences with a therapist that’s what it’s like

    Maybe that’s why she delayed having kids with Brad...confirmed her intuition when her marriage ended from an affair. When she says her husband helped her heal, he probably just opened up that wound even bigger.

    @ladylike1980 maybe you just don't understand how complicated one person's feeling can be. Have you ever had love and hurt for someone at the same time? That's why it hurts so much. If you don't know or never have it, then let me tell you, cutting out someone you love out of your life is very hurtful for both parties. There are probably more positive things being estranged than being in constant contact but always fighting with each other. Time will heal. Just like Oprah said. I agree with her.
