I love ❤️ this song 🎶 even though I don’t understand the language. A roommate from Finland 🇫🇮 introduced it 2013 in Atlanta GA USA 🇺🇸 before moving to Boston MA . I’m still here listening to it. Respect 🫡 ❤

Yep, I believe it. Because, my native language is Finnish, and the languages which words I find easiest to say (outside of Finnic languages), are Japanese, Spanish and Italian. Given there are plenty of languages I don't know, but I know quite a few languages enough. It's strange that those Romance languages from Mediterranean come sound-wise so close.

Didn't find any proof but for my memory 30 years ago here was like mostly -15 to -30 degrees at winters. Coldest days were colder than -30

It’s has given me so many things to be thankful for.One of the biggest things this country has which is so rare nowadays is “Honesty” and “Loyalty”! These,in my opinion are one of the greatest qualities in life..which majority of Finns have! Finns should be proud to be one of the countries to live in.

She misses her fiance behind the far fells, goes to sleep out on the balcony to be closer to him. Sees stars, story about shootin stars. And then hopes the wind (tuuli) would take the her message where the fiance is. Then wind (tuuli) bring the message back from behind the far fells and someone nearby feeling touching his cheek. No more doubting to fall asleep like a little child... Then! The air I breathe is the same air and under our feet the same land. Wind the wind (tuuuli) there he is and play with him hair. Tell him my love, tell him how I miss him. Tell him I still miss you.

I'll post these lyrics here cause I wanna sing along to the lyrics Yöllä taas mä menin parvekkeelle nukkumaan, Jotta lähempänä mua ois hän Pediltäni taivas näkyy, ryhdyin oottamaan, Että näen tähden lentävän Sanovat jos jossain huomaa tähdenlennon niin Toivoa voit'silloin mitä vaan Yöllä ylös taivaalle mä pyynnön kuiskasin Kävisipä pian tuulemaan Tuuli tuule sinne missä muruseni on Leiki hetki hänen hiuksillaan Kerro rakkauteni, kerro kuinka ikävöin Kerro, häntä ootan yhä vaan Tyyni oli eilen yö Mut kohta kuitenkin Tuuli henkäisi ja tuntee sain Joku liikkui lähelläni Koski poskeain Tutun käden tunsin ihollain Enkä enää epäillyt Vaan tiesin, että voin Niin kuin pieni lapsi nukahtaa Ilma jota hengitämme samaa ilmaa on Ja jalkojemme alla sama maa Tuuli tuule sinne missä muruseni on Leiki hetki hänen hiuksillaan Kerro rakkauteni, kerro kuinka ikävöin Kerro, häntä ootan yhä vaan

She goes to sleep on the balcony to see the stars. She wishes that the wind would take her to her loved one. She thinks she can feel his breath in the darkness. Refrain: "Tuuli tuule sinne missä muruseni on" maybe translates into "Oh wind, go find and touch my loved one!". Greetings to Poland, I visited Triple City in July, very nice!

I’m the only person in my close family that doesn’t at least speak some Finnish, so I suppose I found it quite easy to learn songs like this because I’ve heard the language throughout the years. My parents used to speak it to eachother when they didn’t want me to understand what they were saying but neither were completely fluent so I never learnt, wish I had! Such a beautiful language ❤

+Paola Zunico Okay. Here you go.:) Missä muruseni on? = Where is my darling? At night, i went again to the balcony to sleep. So he/she would be closer to me. From my bed, i can see the sky, i started to wait, that i can see a star flying. They say that if you somewhere notice a shooting star, you can then wish for anything. At the night, to the sky i whispered a request, i wish the wind started blowing soon. Chorus: Wind, go and blow there where my darling is. Play a while with his/her hair. Tell him/her my love, tell him/her how i miss. Tell, i'm waiting for him/her still. Calm was night yesterday, but soon anyway, the wind blew and i got a feeling. Someone was moving near me, touched my cheek, i felt a familiar hand on my skin. And i didn't doubt anymore, i knew, that i can, like a little kid fall asleep. The air we breath, is the same air. And under our feet, is the same ground. Chorus x2 Wind go and blow there where my darling is! If i'm right, this song was made for dead children... but i hope you like and understand my translation.:)

My native language (Faroese) does that too in certain circumstances, but it doesn't sound as cool or natural as it does in Finnish. :) We don't "roll" the r's in normal speech, but it does happen when we want to put emphasis on a certain area of speech or during singing to increase the length of a word, and stuff like that. :)

Pronunciation is rather easy and vocabulary is relatively small once you learn how to manipulate word roots. But the grammar is very complex and totally different from Indo-European languages, meaning that you have a very steep learning curve in the beginning and it gets easy only after that.

Johanna has a sharp and sweet voice. Jenni also has a lovely voice but it is not correct to compare them because both are beautiful and talented although Jenni's voice is powerful and thick. Only singers are compared when they have the same style and similar voice tones. Also Johanna's melody is usually softer and more acoustic than Jenni's.

It is about of from girl, fiance, stars, shooting star and wind (tuuli) messages. Almost poetically.

One of them (Quenya) is based ob´n Finnish, and strongly on Latin too. Some oddities he found in long Finnish words, he put into the Entish. We don't hear that in the films, but the book has a few 'clips'. Quenya is for the Middle Earth people a bit like Latin is for us Europeans and Americans (of the New World). The one we usually hear on the films, is mostly based on Welsh (Sindarin). Well, the sound structure of Welsh (and Irish etc.), not the grammar, meanings or vocabulary - at least not very much. Sindarin is the 'Elvish' they use daily, those who can speak it. And there are some other Even languages, like what most of the woodland Elves in the Hobbit would speak.

It is about of from girl, fiance, stars, shooting star and wind (tuuli) messages. Almost poetically. She misses her fiance behind the far fells, goes to sleep out on the balcony to be closer to him. Sees stars, story about shootin star. And then hopes the wind (tuuli) would take the her message where the fiance is. Then wind (tuuli) bring the message back from behind the far fells and someone nearby feeling touching his cheek. No more doubting to fall asleep like a little child... Then! The air we breathe is the same air and under our feet the same land. Wind the wind (tuuuli) there he is and play with him hair. Tell him my love, tell him how I miss him. Tell him I still miss you.

She sings about a loved one, who she has lost. "Blow the wind there where my sweetheart is". Not quite sure if it is a man or possibly a child. The words make me think that this could also be a song from a mother to a lost child.

Tuuli tuule sinne missä muruseni on?
