I met her last night at the restaurant where I work at the Montreal airport. She was with her mom. When I told her how good I thought she was she looked so surprised and happy that I knew who she was. Both of them were really nice.

The best Idol contestant EVER! as the FULL package. No disrespect to the first half dozen seasons, they just didn't ask as much from them. Only Lambert can come close, but is a distant 2nd due to the fact that Jena tore the house down singing virtually every type of music and nailed them all.

The original reason for Idol was to actually make and Idol. Now it more about entertainment for the audience and NOT about making an Idol. Sure they get record contracts but none have had success like Kelly and Carrie because then it was about pure talent and not just how many different genres they can jam in a season.

she has an amazing talent she even can harmonize well toning her powerhouse voice down to match Alex. She blows me away

What an amazing voice! I'm absolutely speechless watching her Always on my mind performance. It's the first time I hear her, I hope we will hear much more from her. It would truely be a waste of talent if we don't.

I find myself watching this every day , sometimes twice.l was a big fan of Angie Miller in last years idol, but Jena this year has been amazing.l wasnt sure about some of her arrangements early in the series, but the more you listen to them , the more they grow on you.Thaks for this and all the other videos. Looking forward to some new material

This is awesome, thanks for putting it up! It was hard to watch because I'm still so so upset she didn't win, but it felt good to watch the whole thing and remember why I supported her from beginning to end. She's just so incredible, definitely the best AI contestant they ever had, right up there with Adam Lambert. I just hope she gets the fame she deserves after the show, and doesn't get forgotten about. She really has too much talent to fade away. We need more like her! I wish you'd included the finale performances of her with Hayley from Paramore & singing No Doubt though, because those were really exciting too.

Oh yeah! SHE is the one who did Valerie! NOW I remember her. I was definitely upset when Caleb won and she did not. She was unique and current while Caleb was, basically, an anachronism.

I like the Caleb and Jena duets. They were both in the finale.

the high school Jena went to was across the street from where I used to live. I remember going to a concert there, she signed my tee shirt and I am still so inspired by her. I check back in ever so often but I don't think she's been putting out much music since 2017. I still think she could be up there with the big stars!!

Jena was so good and should have won. These 3 were my favorite judges - together, they made the show more interesting and had 3 very different approaches to judging that simply worked well. I never watched again after them.

The last memorable contestant of This series. Most of the top 12 sucked on this season but I remember her.

My mom surprised me with tickets to see American Idol Live in Tulsa for my birthday. When they performed this, my mom looked at me and said "That was the best performance tonight!"

I have one of her bands old posters still hanging above my drumset lol the color has faded so much that it is almost white in parts, and the bands drummer is now an instructor at the school

Jenna should've won not Caleb. Jena was so much better. Caleb was nothing more then a 80's rock stuck and did't do any thing else. Jena did everything but made it her own. Caleb tried to be something he is not. I think he got the sympathy vote.

i dunno about all that. she was great, and they were neck to neck in my opinion. but his faithfully and dream on were so damn on point that its hard for anyone to deny that this kid can very much sing and has a shitton of talent. singing 80s rock is not easy for anyone to do, especially with REAL vibrato. they were very very evenly matched

No one understands how fucking hard it is to play piano and sing god it's so hard

I wish Jena and Adam Lambert had a duet for the finale , such a missed opportunity it would’ve been epic

Far and away best female singer on idol...or at for that matter...same for Adam lambert

im not exactly sure why everyone is giving caleb so much crap??? he is a phenomenal vocalist and knows who he is. if theres one thing you can observe from idol its that it really doesnt matter who wins, jennifer hudson came in 7th. jena and caleb both did amazing that season, it was probably very close. but i dont think caleb deserves all this hate and junk because he's not terrible

That’s not always true. Dalton Rapattoni, Makenzie Boug, Clark Beckham, Angie Miller, Jax, Jena Irene, and La’Porsha Renae who all recent runner-ups who were predicted to be huge successful stars even though they didn’t win, and where are they now?
