Housing/rent costs are not in the hands of the president, they are in the hands of the landlord. Talk to your state lawmakers and have them do something about it.

They were surprised that young people were concerned about the economy and price of housing!? This is such a rich lady show. I wish they would interview a blue collar worker sometime. Maybe interview a hotel maid or a carpenter or a recent graduate from with a ton of debt. These rich ladies are so removed from all of this.

I loved how Jen said Joe isn't perfect/hasn't gotten everything done. Most of the view women act like he can do no wrong and it ruins debates.

They don’t have to raise the prices, they make massive amounts of money regardless, but they did it because they can. Unless Biden can officially force them to lower prices (and I’m sure MAGA will call him a dictator if he tries), he’s not responsible for it. Greedy CEOs are to blame. Trump didn’t lower gas prices in 2020, the pandemic forcing us all to stay home and not drive places daily lowered prices because there was more supply at that point than there was demand. It’s crazy people don’t understand how these things work and just blame whoever’s in office.

I think Americans care more about inflation. Food prices are high, bills in general like electricity, gas , housing and any insurance are high! I think the issue is.....everyone has different opinions. And peaceful protests are one of those that people have different opinions on. Once funding is involved and people are paid to be there.......leads to them to not be so peaceful. The momment a building is broken into and vandalized that's not peaceful. Calling for the death of a race and nor allowing certain students on campus is not really peaceful anymore. And most of this stuff is being done by the agitator and not an actual student.

I had money saved, jobs were easy to come by, rent was low, food was affordable, and I was able to go on vacation from time to time. Now, I'm broke with no savings and I've been unemployed applying to thousands of jobs for almost a whole year, I'm on the verge of being homeless. So yea, everything isn't great for everybody under Biden.

"From the river to the sea" isn't inherently antisemitic. If you have a county in that area and say "From the river to the sea," like Israel has a country and also says "From the river to the sea", which Israel does say, that means the genocide of Palestinians. What other interpretation can you make from Israel saying that phrase? But since Palestinians don't have a country, from the river to the sea means a country of Palestine next to Israel or genocide of Jews. Since the protesters have said what it means to them is not the genocide of the Jews, then they are using the former definition. If it means something different to you, as you would only use it to call for the genocide of Jews, don't use it in a protest.

"From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" is a call for the destruction of the state of Israel. That is what it has always meant by everyone who has said it. What is between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea? it's not just Gaza and the West Bank, it's Tel Aviv and the rest of Israel proper,so when you say from the river to the sea,Palestine will be free, you are saying that you consider all that land including Israel proper to be occupied Arab land, which would mean Israel would have to go along with all the Jews that live there. I don't doubt the morons that are chanting that don't know that, they are just following the crowd, most of them probably don't even know what river and what sea it is referring to.

@@andrewstevenson118 the 1977 manifesto of Netanyahu's Likud party quite literally says "between the Sea and the Jordan there will only be Israeli sovereignty". So if "later" means 37 years ago, then maybe, but once you adopt something and keep it for 37 years, it's yours.

You know what, it's very telling of you ladies to be surprised by the fact that young people are more concerned with the economy and the cost of living. The mere fact that this surprises you reveals how out of touch you are with today's youth. The same youth that Whoopi and Joy like to criticize when they complain how tough things are in these streets. Get off your rich high horse and start paying attention to real average Americans.

Inflation is SLOWING, that doesn’t mean the cost of anything is going down. My car insurance went up $40 for no reason!!! Cell phone bill went up so I ended canceling one of the services. Cost of groceries are outrageous and housing is so bad that I just end up laughing because it’s too bad to even be real. I’ve been stuck at my awful apartment for the past 2 years because I can’t afford to move elsewhere. And I make $90K a year!!
