JELLYFISH MERMAID 🎨 OIL PAINTING + saying goodbye to artworks

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Long time no see my loves! Today's oil painting time lapse is a portrait of a jellyfish mermaid with magenta pink hair. It's a mixture of surrealism, realism, and fantasy. 🧜‍♀️🐟🐠 I'll also be talking about my tips to say goodbye to your artworks when you sell your art. It's a struggle to bid farewell to a painting or drawing that you've created and nurtured because we become attached to our work, but over time I've learned how to deal with the sadness of saying goodbye and see the benefits of being able to sell art. Hope you enjoy! 😘
xoxo,
Happy

    Hello! Love your art, and I saw a video from someone that explained things about the demonetisation and then I realised how I havent seen certain artists pop up anymore. One of them was you. So I went to my "subscribed to" newsfeed and now im watching the awesome video's back. I really don't like how youtube is doing these things right now. It is just art, people that are not into art won't even search for these things, and the people that do come across video's like this are not even offended or anything. I really think things are being pulled out of proportions lately.

But reading your title, I really did interpret it as YOU saying goodbye to YOUR artwork (like, as saying goodbye to art or creating artworks) and I nearly got a heart attack. So glad I got it all wrong. That aside, beautiful artwork as always, and you are improving with every piece you create. And a great video and voice-over. I really like just listen to you talking too, even though I may disagree with some things you say (based on my own experiences and knowledge, wich just differ from yours and many other peoples), but you have a really nice voice and a very calming and relaxing way of talking. @@education461 It is not a matter of shame, but she is a naked person/ humanoid, this platform has children everywhere, some parents do not want their children to have access to this type of content, even if it is not the focus. Is that so hard to understand?

  • @education461

    @education461

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@lobabranca908 Yes it is! Because I do not think this type of art is by any means cause damaging to any children. In fact what is damaging is the idea, your idea that children most believe that our body should be covered because it is wrong to see it. That send the message that is shameful! The fact that is not the focus of the art is exactly what makes it completely right because if you go against this you are the one saying a simple breast is a shame! You know what is shameful that we censure this type of art that embrace love and everything we should admire about ourselves and we do not censure extreme violence that glamorize senseless cruelty (instead of making a point of showing real critic about torture and injustice). Parents don't want their children to see art that is cultural and that is no different than to teach anatomy but they care less to teach them real values. If there would be anything wrong with a nude we would not have being born naked. We use clothes because of the weather not because there is anything wrong with our bodies. Also people complain about female bodies but they say nothing if a male shows a male chest. That sends our daughters the message that something is bad about their bodies. You know what is bad not to teach men to respect ALL women no matter if they are inside a sleeping bag or if they are completely naked and no matter where they are in this planet or what they do for a living. All women deserve respect and nudity is just us without clothes and the more you hide that from your kids the more they will want to find out in the wrong places why you make so much fuss about it. Art is not to be censure like that because art is exactly what teaches freedom, art is a reflexion of our reality! You don't want children to see nudes but you do not care to stop society from hurting real values that creates a world of loneliness where people rely on porn or prostitution to feed their emotional needs. What you need to change is not art, is the reality of our lack of values!

    @@lobabranca908 What are you talking about most religions exist to spread fear and have tortured and committed genocides all over the planet for centuries. Humanity can do good without fear just because we have a real conscious and we can learn to use it. I don't need to believe there is a hell after life because I see the hell we create on earth when we are not responsible as a society. When society owns its own failures humanity will be able to become responsible and fix them. What we need is people with empathy not believers in fairy god mothers. And yes dirty minded people care about their fears based on their views of prudish ideas. People care about nudity but they promote war n their children. Their kids can't see a natural nude at five years old but they can think about killing other children across the globe is ok? How does that make any sense? It doesn't! Killing families is morally terrible and seeing a nude is completely healthy and natural as it is who we are! We are flesh and we have a body. We should care more about how we educate our kids about respecting others than about if they get to see a pair of breasts! Images are not evil what is evil is oppression.

    For oil painting should I draw the background first or the person?(Also your paintings are really pretty)

    It all depends on what works best for you since every artist has their own process. I personally enjoy fleshing out the person/subject first because I can then get the background to match and give focus to the subject 😊

    I find it to weird of both of us thinking of the same concept. I’m using myself though in the painting but I’m surrounded by jellyfish to go with the series I started a little g time ago with an owl surrounded by jellyfish.

    I love your artwork. 🖼 🎨 💖 About the having to censor, maybe you could write something like „free the nipple“ over the censored part as a form of protest? Would be fun. 😂

    Your babies are amazing! of course, why we are here. Your stories and art inspire. Thank you. I had to say those things first (because they are true) and so I didn't start the reply with "wtf?" That is insane the censorship, on the human body but on art. Gibran "Forget not that modesty is for a shield against the eye of the unclean. And when the unclean shall be no more, what were modesty but a fetter and a fouling of the mind?". Those whom find the human body offensive are the ones whom are perverted. They see the beauty with which you were born with badly because they are unclean". Perception is everything, one person can look and think "what a miracle of nature" another will look and only think dirty unclean things. What does that say about our world when people are so uptight about our God given meat suit that even art must be censored. I am SO sorry...so much pandering nowdays...why can't they just say "if you are sick and see it as dirty.. don't look" Ps... like so many others have said...rest...nothing runs the body and spirit down than exhaustion Xx

    I had a painting removed from eBay because my model had her boobage covered with little black crosses and that was 'reported ' and removed from eBay. I honestly couldn't believe it! Are they going to start reporting nudes in galleries next? This is a raw deal for art imo. It needs to stop
