Jehovahs Witnesses get kids to sing about loving church (its bad)

Jehovahs Witnesses get kids to sing about loving church, about noah and his family, and more in their rendition of songs for children to sing. it's as cringy as it sounds. Let's talk about what it all means and why they decided to make the caleb and sophia-esque songs in the first place.

hey owen, i found your channel about a year and a half ago on my suggested page while i was still a christian. i was raised seventh day adventist; they’re not as high control as JWs but they’re pretty high up there. i just wanted to thank you, cause your channel took me to other athiest youtubers who (along with you) really showed me freedom from religion. i’ve just never mentioned it in a comment before but i felt inclined today. ❤

6:20 Caleb and Sophia Cameo? I mean it makes sense to include the quick subliminal message of "Caleb and Sophia are at the convention like good little Jehovahs Whitnesseses. Are you going to be at the convention, and be good like them?" --- Also, is it weird I get giddy every time I see your tree? Idk I guess It's just a symbol of your freedom, and ultimately your happy life out from under the thumbs of the governing body 🤷

Where I worked there was an arena next door. They would come in, block up the streets, all dressed up with their name tags on. No use going out to eat that day because they filled all the local restaurants.

Nothing of note but we had a weekend getaway this last June. We inadvertently scheduled it on the convention weekend in the city it was held in, in Oregon. Our hotel was PACKED with JWs. My 9 year old son was stunned that there were kids his age in suits and ties.

I think they purposefully tried imitating the art style of some of the most endearing and progressive shows from the past decade, particularly Steven Universe (immediate association with the environmental art). I think they sorta mixed Californian Arts with their own take and it's scary because they know this shit is going to work on at least some kids. I wouldn't be surprised if they had personal beef with Bluey (another incredible show with great environmental art) and some modern Cartoon Network shows. Suuuuuucks, man, I can't believe they can just do that

Funny thing: if Noah was supposedly putting pairings of animals of each kind, then he would have had to know about taxonomy which didn't exist back then. Yes, actual speciation did exist, but the science covering it was unknown to humans (although there were some Greek philosophers and scientists who suggested something akin to evolution). So how exactly would he be able to figure that out? Well, he wouldn't, not without observing and proving evolution. It is impossible, it's a paradox. Even if God theoretically told him who to choose, it's still in direct conflict with the fact of evolution and taxonomy.

I thought about that too. Most of their animations resemble modern-day kids cartoons. I'm thinking that perhaps one of those shows' animators is a JW and of course provides their services to the religion (FOR FREE!)

Okay, but as an ex Mormon (similar to JW to an extent) and a Fate fan/FGO player, I find it ironic that you mention Gilgamesh’s story was the basis for Noah’s. It just makes me picture Fate’s version Gilgamesh laughing hard at Noah if he becomes playable in FGO mobile along with other biblical characters!
