I'm what you call a baby Christian. May 10th 2024 will be my 1 year that I recognized and accepted Jesus in my heart and got saved. I really hope one day, I will be able to quote scriptures like him and to be closer to God.

Hope one day God will speak to you from Heaven as He did me! It's good to know scriptures but it's much better to obey and live by God's laws more! You can memorize and know the Bible inside and out but if you are not living by it then it means absolutely nothing! Remember the devil knows the Bible better than anyone but it doesn't change him!

​@notsure62 You are incorrect, In John 2:19-21 Christ clearly says that He would raise HIMSELF from the dead in three days, because Christ did in fact rise in 3 days. Does the word of God refer to the human body as a temple of the Holy Spirit? The temple that Christ was talking about was HIS body, but the jews misunderstood it to mean the temple they were standing in. The word God is a title, just like the word Supervisor is a title. God the Fathers essence is spirt just my essence is human.

My first encounter with Jehovah's Witnesses was just a few months after becoming a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. I spoke with 2 JW's for a couple hours. We agreed to come back together to continue our discussion. They did but only stayed about 10 minutes. I saw one later in the grocery store and started to chat. She looked around to see if anyone was near, and quietly said "We are not allowed to talk to you." I was told by my pastor not to bother talking to any JW's because I could never change their minds. I just wanted to tell them the truth and I still talk to Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Baptists, anyone who comes to my door may hear the Gospel message from me - with almost 50 years more growth "in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ".

I am a former Roman Catholic who expected to find the truth of Scripture within the Protestant faith. So many variations between the Churches, to date, given the rise of false Preachers, I have yet to find a Church near me to join, sadly. You mention "Baptists" might I ask what is wrong with them. @@notsure62 This isn't true. I'm not sure how you say so when I've already provided specific biblical examples of how they distort the word of God to undermine/refute the Deity of Christ. I've been studying the imposition of their doctrine onto Scripture for years now, and have had many conversations with JW's whom I've befriended. I have a copy of the NWT which facilitates my witness to Jehovah's Witness members, and evidences the changes intentionally forced onto biblical doctrines. What the Governing Body has done is to take their manmade heretical ideas, and written a Bible version which verifies them. Namely: 1. Jesus is a created being, having no Deity. 2. The Holy Spirit isn't a Person, but merely a force--such as gravity or electricity. 3. Jesus didn't resurrect bodily, but only as a spirit. 4. The only way to salvation is to join the JW organization (this is actually more to their extra-biblical handouts than in Scripture). 5. The Trinity is a lie. The governing body which created the NWT translation have not just traded a word here for its synonym there, but have distorted entire doctrines to legitimize their manmade perspectives. To repeat, a weighty example I've already provided is John 1:1 which states that Jesus (The Word) is God. To impose their anti-Jesus doctrine into the Scriptures, they changed the verse to say that Jesus is "a god"--small g, like any other god who is not the Almighty, or as a false god. For years they couldn't get past this proof of Scripture, so they brazenly changed it. I can say as someone who has studied and compared the New World Translation to the Holy Bible, that there are changes all *throughout* their version that are manipulative (to their membership) and are heretical to the God-inspired Holy Scriptures. Another proof of the Deity of Christ is God's title "The I Am." Because there is Scripture to prove that both The Father and Jesus are called by this name--thereby the same God--they simply removed and replaced, in order to insinuate their own doctrine. They changed Father God's words to say instead "I will become who I choose to become" and changed Christ's words to say, "before Abraham was, "I have been," so that these verses cannot be used as proof texts for the Deity of Jesus. In Genesis 1:2 the Holy Spirit is spoken of as hovering over the waters. Because they hugely want their followers to believe that the Spirit of God isn't a Person, they changed the word of God to say, "His *active* *force* was hovering over the waters. This is blasphemously deliberate: if the Holy Spirit is but a force, there is no way to prove the Trinity that they reject. The Bible is very clear that adding or subtracting from the word is sinful and will be punished. The JW's preach another gospel than the Gospel of Christ. And the Bible says this about that: "If even we or an angel from heaven preaches a different Gospel to you than the one we have preached to you--then let him be *accursed* . JW members have been mind-controlled by the governing body of their Bible and tract society to believe these things. They claim to their parishioners that they have new and direct revelation from God which goes beyond what the Bible says--and they're conditioned to believe this. Many of them, through my personal interactions with JW's, don't even realize that changes have irreverently been made to the word of God to suit their manmade doctrines. If you want to learn more about the manipulation over Jehovah's Witnesses by the governing board, and the extensive level of mind control and duplicity involved, KZread search Melissa Dougherty's videos on Jehovah's witnesses. For a comprehensive one you can KZread search: "Melissa Dougherty Mind Control: Entering Into the Mind of The Jehovah's Witness." She's ministered to Jehovah's witnesses for many years, has gone to their functions, and has good inside information and written materials concerning the cult. I learned so much about this over the past five or six years on a personal basis before becoming familiar with other online information. And I see through the JW's I've personally witnessed to how hard it is to mentally break through to them. They both adore and praise the governing body of men whom they regard as "The Faithful Slave." Sorry, but as to your comment, the Deity of Jesus, the Holy Trinity, and others I've pointed out are hardly slight differences--they're the whole ball of wax.

It's simple, we either belive that Jesus is who He says He is or we don't. If you are born again then you have been given the Holy Spirit who is the power of God who works in us to reveal the truth of God's word to us. Those who are not born of God and born of the Spirit of God will always doubt His word and doubt that Jesus is who He says He is and also what the word of God says about Him, that Jesus is a member of the Holy Trinity along with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Also the Bible tells us that it was Jesus who created all there is and that nothing was made that was not made by Him.

Jesus did say many times that his Father is God. Jesus also said in John 8:40 that he is a man. He also called himself the Messiah many times, and the Christ, and the Son of Man... never God. So he plainly called himself a man, and never plainly said he is God. Most of the world's churches give Jesus the praise and glory of God, which God does not look kindly upon. Do you see a potential problem here?

Couple times JW knocked on my door and started with "aren't you afraid...?" I answer by explaining I am Christian and not afraid of anything and decline the literature. Without missing a beat, Holy Spirit helps & I clearly & briefly share the gospel and also that the bible they use is an altered version & not the Holy Spirit inspried version of Christians. There is not a lot of time when someone is at your doorway, but they heard The Gospel.

@notsure62 “everlasting” is inaccurate. The Greek word refers to a life without *_beginning_* or end. Everlasting *_only_* means without *_end._* Modern translations correct this error. The translations communicate everything that needs to be communicated. Second, you were the one relying on an English idiom in order to interpret a passage. Second Theos *_(God in Greek)_* is used for Jesus Christ quite a few times. The problem you have is that you don't know the Greek wording. Yes, the translation I have been using says what the Greek says: *_the New American Standard Bible, 1995._*

I believe that Jesus is the son of God (1John 4:15, 1 John 5:5), I believe in the Holy Trinity (Matthew 28:19). This authority begins in heaven and extends to the earth. This is significant on many levels, not the least of which, heaven is the place where the original sin took place before Adam was formed from the dust of the earth - the sin of pride which challenged the authority of God. So it is, when Jesus accomplished the mission of destroying the works of the devil, He rightfully received All authority in heaven and earth. In heaven so that He can be the Lord of Hosts, and on earth so that He can be Lord of all. The angels in heaven bow in submission to Him after those who followed the wicked one were cast down to the earth. He is the image of the invisible God, the first born of all creation. Colossians 1:15. The Holy Bible doesn’t lie.

If you can, look at the points he wouldn't let her discuss... like rev1:8. Who is speaking? Compare verse1. And she asked about "Almighty God", as opposed to "mighty god"... he says there is no difference..there is. Compare el gibbór and El Shaddái. Almighty trumps mighty and Jesus is never called Almighty, his father YHWH is. Gen17:1. Or don't, most don't, just an option. All the best.

That is a hard situation to be in, I’ve been there. Having to sit next to them everyday and listen to their views on scripture, I didn’t have scripture verses memorized enough to go to battle against her. I prayed about it and eventually she quit lol. I’ve learned my lesson and now I am really trying to study more to be more equipped next time. Just study and do your best, God will be with you

Vs 3 says “ALL things were made by “HIM” and without him was not anything made that was made. Vs 4, in him was life, and the life was the light of Men. If we go further down to verse 14 of the same chapter. “and the WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US,( and we beheld his glory,the glory as of the only begotten of the father). This scripture reveals that Jesus has always been in the beginning, not only that but that creation was made possible by him, it also was stated in John1:1 that he is God. Please read John 1:1-14 when you can. Isaiah 9:6 also says that Jesus is called Wonderful, counselor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE PRINCE OF PEACE. John10:30 were Jesus also declares that he is ONE WITH THE FATHER.

The phrase "only begotten" translates the Greek word monogenes. This word is variously translated into English as "only," "one and only," and "only begotten." It’s this last phrase ("only begotten" used in the KJV, NASB and the NKJV) that causes problems. False teachers have latched onto this phrase to try to prove their false teaching that Jesus Christ isn’t God; i.e., that Jesus isn’t equal in essence to God as the Second Person of the Trinity. They see the word "begotten" and say that Jesus is a created being because only someone who had a beginning in time can be "begotten." What this fails to note is that "begotten" is an English translation of a Greek word. As such, we have to look at the original meaning of the Greek word, not transfer English meanings into the text. So what does monogenes mean? According to the Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature (BDAG, 3rd Edition), monogenes has two primary definitions. The first definition is "pertaining to being the only one of its kind within a specific relationship." This is its meaning in Hebrews 11:17 when the writer refers to Isaac as Abraham’s "only begotten son" (KJV). Abraham had more than one son, but Isaac was the only son he had by Sarah and the only son of the covenant. Therefore, it is the uniqueness of Isaac among the other sons that allows for the use of monogenes in that context. The second definition is "pertaining to being the only one of its kind or class, unique in kind." This is the meaning that is implied in John 3:16 (see also John 1:14, 18; 3:18; 1 John 4:9). John was primarily concerned with demonstrating that Jesus is the Son of God (John 20:31), and he uses monogenes to highlight Jesus as uniquely God’s Son-sharing the same divine nature as God-as opposed to believers who are God’s sons and daughters by adoption (Ephesians 1:5). John 3:13 - 15 No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven-the Son of Man. 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life Philippians 2:10-11 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ------------------- The statement “Jesus is Lord” means that Jesus is God. Jesus has “all authority in heaven and on earth” (Matthew 28:18). He is Lord of the Sabbath (Luke 6:5). He is “our only Sovereign and Lord” (Jude 1:4). He is, in fact, the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus referred to Himself as “Lord” many times (e.g., Luke 19:31; John 13:13). And when we compare the Old Testament with the New, we find several times when the “LORD” (Yahweh) of the Hebrew Bible is equated with the “Lord Jesus” by the apostles. For example, Psalm 34:8 says, “Taste and see that the LORD is good,” and that passage is alluded to in 1 Peter 2:3, except there Jesus is the “Lord” who is good. Amazingly, the Lord Jesus left His exalted position in heaven and came to earth to save us. In His Incarnation, He showed us what true meekness looks like (see Matthew 11:29). This channel served to be a great instruction for me. Within days of finding his channel and watching many of his videos, including with JWs, I and a friend were approached in a parking lot by JWs that saw us studying the scriptures in public. They commended us and it opened the door to discuss the deity of Christ. We were confident in our engagement with the help of the Holy Spirit and this brothers example. I thank God for Hussan and pray that his videos are seen by many to the glory of God.

I truly enjoyed this very much, I know by experience that the JW can really twist you up. God was definitely leading that man to scripture he did an excellent job explaining to them. I said to my husband that I wondered if she got out of that cult and he said probably not that she probably went back and talked to one of her elders at the church and he put all that doubt back in her head. In John 20:17 Jesus tells His disciples that He going to be with His Father who is your Father and to be with His God , who is your God.

Jesus Christ is God, as The Bible declares from start to finish. But Im sorry, Isa 48 clearly describes YHWH sending Isaiah not Himself. Trying to force it to say otherwise is just flat wrong at best. Having such a blatant error as the opening and subject of a video is very disappointing.
