    I think one of the big problems that occurs with this ideology of soul flying arround is the thought that you shall not actually die that sadly correlates with the first lie that Satan told to Adam and Eve oh, they wouldn’t really die. The truth is you do die until the resurrection. Scripture says there is a first and second resurrection. (Blessed is he that has part in the first resurrection for those in the second will not have life. Genesis states that man becomes a living soul only when dust is mixed with breath of life.

    Very nice insight! I am also a Christian. However, As Genesis states when the dust of the ground was mixed with the breath of life man became a living being. So when the body dies it returns to dust and the breath of life returns to God. Waiting for the resurrection. But the soul no longer lives until the resurrection. Eclesiastes 9:5 ( the dead know nothing) the soul is actually the combo of dust and breath of life. If you don’t agree with it, it’s not a salvation issue, but it is an important view
