if there weren't a long list of 'buyers' then JE would have not have achieved infamy. the only real interest in the JE story is that long list of 'buyers'. that USA authorities can't be bothered to investigate the 'buyers' informs us all about the higher echelons of USA society. sorry to say this show's focus on JE fundamentally avoids the corruption prevalent throughout USA media, politics and billionaires that JE serviced.

I agree! I can no longer watch Piers Morgan ... and I never could watch the females on "The View" for this very reason. Why bother inviting someone on your show if you keep cutting them off and interrupting them? I would rather the host let someone say what they want to say ... and then ask the poignant questions or make statements to show the flaw in their view, if that's the case. There is more power in that! We're adults... not toddlers who think they are always right and cannot let someone else talk.

@@marisafrenczli7012 That's why Johnny Carson was so successful. He & They knew he was well on his way after about 6 mo. Yes, it took a small while, but not much. He kept his place, played the fool to the joker, and made it appear as if that was all he was. For anyone that knew that business, could tell when Johnny knew, himself, that it was time to PUSH -- and he did. But, many times, I think he resented what came with being a "successful host" - you were attached at the hip with all big stars, and that required more of his time. For those knowing the man, he made certain they were aware he was not going to be more than what he wanted. They tried it for years. There is always another talent than the one you see in action as you watched the show. I got to notice her when TRUMP ran for President. I was in awe of her - who would have that kind of courage to stand up and keep going! She also was someone who knew her gift & what she could do! I've been a great fan of both Megyn & Trump. That was very hard on her, I do believe. "How could they take her job from her for doing her JOB"!! We all know the answer to that today. Megyn didn't need to bring him down. Every democrat on this Earth was filled with a rage and they were like "CARBUNCLES" (& still are) - but the numbers don't lie, and the statistics don't lie, either. He's been the most courageous man who has ever stood up to the "WORLD" as the USA knows it, and says "I will not let them through. I've paid my debt. I suppose it could be said that THAT Night was when both TRUMP & MEGYN KELLY were birthed - Thank God. I believe the WORLD saw a MAN walk on that stage - knowing he'd be a force to reckon with. He is respected and loved around the World. I thank God for that, too. He gave America something they never saw before -- "You don't SCARE ME" - TOGETHER WE WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!

Don't forget Trump! Literally the entire team of confidants, lawyers and the prosecuters that got Epstein the sweatheart deal in 2008 became cabinet members and lawyers of the Trump administration. They are all part of his inner circle. Scott Borgerson the guy who hid Ghislaine and then tried to bail her out was connected to the Trump Administration and finally Maria Farmer, one of the accusers of Ghislaine says in the last episode of "shadow of Epstein" documentary "I don't believe Ghislaine is in jail, I believe she is in the Trump tower". Trump was in Epsteins black book and was on his airplane despite denying it. Just saying.

@Lisa Stalnaker I agree with you LIsa...see my comment to Kay armstrong below in response to hers to you. From what i know from great sources his contribution was extremely lacking. There has to be better people to interview on this and i hope she gets someone else...but i am glad she asked what she did and for every comment she made which o;pened the door for him to say more if he did know more and he would nod and agree as tho would have added to that and then didn't. I almost feel like any of us could have given answers with more substance, and facts and explanations....and she seemed to know way more than him and would certainly paint a much bigger and more facts included picture.... his statements were not news to me about the kind of statements he claims to be quoting (of Jeffrey) and events describing ..it was so frustrating like waiting for a five year old to answer who took the cookie out of the cookie jar and you hear a long story with everything BUT the answer to that question. But this guy is not five years old. What is he not willing to tell and yet write a book about for what .. to take advantage of the opportunity for profit and fame? or to really bring something to the table.

@@JeanetteFaith i strongly disagree. Lost his train of thought? . I have never heard anyone be so bad at an interview in all my life ...saying NOTHING.......saying ah um ah aum more times between words in ONE sentence and between sentences that it is so hard to listen to him.long before he was ever interrupted. I would WANT Megan to interrupt so bad as she would tell us more in ONE SENTENCE then 15 min. of his ah and ums with a few words thrown in. At some places he spoke more fluently which makes me wonder how much of this he is even really reliably conveying...People who use about one word every few or more ah and ums are usually trying to figure out what to say as they talk and often not telling the truth or are hiding some of it. . Much of what he said most of us (at least those of us informed) already know about and know more than he is telling. When she interrupts we finally get the info it takes him so long to get at and she just says quite well and fills in with much more details that you know are the truth because she gives the source where it is documented. I hope she gets someone much better at answering questions and who is really well informed. And i am sure she won't interrupt if they are really telling us something. Her input was way more relevant and meaningful. ..than his. After she did fill us in after waiting for him to finish a thought and say SOMETHING and didn't ....when she DID ...HE WOULD NOD IN AGREEMENT for most of those ...so who was really revealing ? If she did not interrupt and explain what he did not. ...this interview would not have been worth a minute of my time.

None of them are truly independent unless they broadcast on their own platform. Megyn has an exclusive agreement with SiriusXM which is a major media platform in the podcast/radio space. If they wanted to they still have final control, although considering they’ve been the home of a Howard Stern for forever they’re obviously more lenient to let someone say things that aren’t considered PC if you look at what Stern once was before he pivoted to what he has become now. If Sirius cracked down they could. The idea of true independence in media is basically non-existent because as close as some may come to doing so almost everybody has to use a major platform that can control what they say. Even being independent in a sense where you aren’t signed with any major company if you use KZread as your platform you still have to toe their line to avoid losing your monetization on the platform. The idea of true independence is fun to ponder but the money involved in being involved with some major platform is too big to fully avoid 9/10 times. Even if you had your own platform entirely most people watch what they say to keep sponsors and the like. It’s just too difficult to say whatever you want if you want to monetize your show realistically unless you have a fanbase ready to pay a subscription to support someone on an independent platform where they can ignore advertising and the like.

CONNECTING THE DOTS - A QUESTION: Hi Megyn and Barry, Greetings from Los Angeles, California. I found how Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell met very interesting. But what is also very interesting is WHAT HAPPENED to Robert Maxwell's (lost) fortune AND how did Jeffrey amass his fortune??? Is Jeffrey's fortune really Robert Maxwell's lost fortune and is that one of the reasons Jeffrey was killed???

The money Maxwell (real name Jan Koch (known as the bouncing cheque ) From the Czech Rep. A cruel and controlling man. He stole 400 million from the trinity mirror group that belonged to the workers of the Mirror who'd been paying for their pensions and Robert Maxwell stole it because he was in financial difficulty. Mossad took him out as he was a double agent. Worked with KJB & MI6, MI5, GCHQ, Mossad, etc. He had no fortune unless he syphoned it away but he stole those pensions to keep his pet project afloat Pergamon Press. So you say he had money Where? Unless the pension money stolen from his workforce was sent to New York to set his daughter up. The court case with two of his sons Ian and Kevin were snide they put their houses into their wives names one rough diamond wife was from a wealthy family called Pandora. So they got legal aid and it cost 14 million the tax payer paid they said they had no knowledge and got off although they'd been working with Robert Maxwell. He Robert used to be called Ian Maxwell but became Robert. As a Czech he was Jan Koch. Peace out ☮️ SW England 🇬🇧

@JM This is primarily discussing the young victims and enablers and not the scums who can't control themselves who used their 'services' from all political persuasions and rich and famous. When you reduce it to debating which side of politics is worse it is demeaning the victims and crimes to turn the trial discussion into a circus and naming the celebrities, merely a sideshow. Consider how much time was spent talking about the English royalty - Maxwell went to Oxford University when Prince Andrew was there and Epstein and Maxwell knew how to network.

Happens with almost all abusers like this. Most people are happy to turn blind eyes as long as the abusers provide benefit to them and once it becomes public they turn against them to protect their interests. Look at a Weinstein for example. The few people who acknowledge they did know of his behavior have acknowledged they didn’t say anything because they didn’t want to lose their careers. Others feign ignorance. Even the ones who have been applauded for standing up to him like a Brad Pitt had done in the 90s didn’t speak out against him and later worked with him on multiple films in the 2000s and 2010s. He didn’t do a ton of films with him but even someone like him was willing to work with him at some point. All of them are willing to stay in line until it isn’t profitable

One particular part of this that makes no sense to me is: why would Ghislaine not make a deal with the prosecutor? Like you guys said Epstein is dead, she could have freedom before she died if she just told them what she knew. Alternatively, her claiming they haven't offered one is very interesting and also a possibility. But if true that doesn't make sense either. Why would they NOT want to get big fish involved with sexually assaulting minors?? This all comes off very sus to me. It pushes me towards conspiracy theory type presumptions. Because it would be easy to assume the prosecutor didn't offer a deal because someone higher up told them not to (in order to protect some powerful people), or if they DID offer her a deal, Ghislaine is refusing because she's that afraid of what would happen to her if she did. Anyway that's one loose end for me as it doesn't make any sense.

I cannot get a Crime Victim Rights Act case on a fender bender through the Courts without victim input. THAT is the story here. Even in a minor traffic case (in Colorado), before sentencing on a plea, as regular as clockwork, the judge looks at the prosecutor and WITHOUT FAIL asks, "is this a CVRA case, have we heard from the victim(s)?" It is incredibly basic, like the sun coming up. The fact that this was avoided for Epstein, at this level of Court and the law, is the real story here.

Wow!! That was fascinating. Wish we knew the whole story. Meghan Markle, I was told from a KZreadr, could’ve been called For Prince Andrews trial, but was not. Do you have any information on what she would know and could’ve testified?
