I agree, he is exactly what we need and doesn’t hurt our identity, and we got trade chips building for the future…: its incredible how well he did. weltman is the first of the many of front offices that are out there building a championship team with the new CBa rules in mind. He will produce a championship

@@user-EB2016 whats delusional about seeing what is front of you and doing simple math around that. KCP makes our backcourt top 5 in guards defensive play at the very least. We already were top 3 defensive team last year, he will solidify that even more. His shooting and championship poise will open the game up for the young fellas. Not a very “sexy” signing, but just as impactful . Whats delusional about that?

I know this is nowhere near a fair comparison but just for comparison reasons I will tell you the Franz wag Wagner extension is better than the pope signing for the money, and that being said every player is overpaid even if it doesn't start out that way they get there very soon is there any good

Everyone is definitely overpaid. But Franz was easily worth that to me. Age, production and progression. If Scottie is worth that to Toronto, Franz is EASILY worth that to us. Also makes the Suggs contract situation a lot more interesting considering he’s from the same draft class.

@@adnswnn it was. He seemed to have a lot fewer in the last couple press conferences than normal and it also seems like there’s not that much pollen around, so the line was set low. Clearly the over paid, will be noted for next time. 😂

Not enough lines. After the fact: It took 55 seconds for his first sniff. Then 8 sniffs occurred in the next 10 seconds while he was listening. Was it 8 or was it 10? I lost count 🥴

Its noting like experience and growing as a team the scoring will come they are young they are figuring stuff out and they figured out they are a defensive monster now the organization believes they will get the scoring together but with the players on this roster and i agree we may have something special if they figure out the scoring part meaning they get better this year dont for get we took Cleveland to game 7 and who knows if we had a KCP do we advance to the second round

KCP is a good defensive player but he can’t score. His last 3 playoffs game he score 3pt,9pts and 6pts he is not what Magic need. Yes, he did won two championships but that Lakers and Nuggets team are stacked on offense the Magic are not. Infact the Magic is one of the worst scoring team in the NBA they need a Guard that can run the offense attack, shoot and score to help Banchero and Franz they don’t need another Guard that can’t score. The Magic got cap space and draft capital to signed or trade for a player they needed but the management failed to do so they failed to get Banchero the help he needed to compete for a championship

I think suggs will take that step that's why we are bringing kcp in because it's going to be times when we go up against the top point guards in the NBA last year suggs was spent putting all his effort on defense kcp can give him brakes by switching on D so suggs can have energy on the offensive end plus KCP can guard all three positions PG SG SF and he can shoot the three what we desperately need and he is durable this was a great sign

He doesn’t need to score. Just the gravity he creates by being a respected 3 point shooter will open things up for Paolo and Franz
