So doping of any kind doesn't tarnish a legacy? I'm by no means a hater, they've built something incredible... But I don't care if it's Lance Armstrong, Ben Johnson, Jon Jones, Russian athletics or Manchester City... When you cheat by, in this case, shovelling money through the back door to ensure you're playing to different rules than everyone else, that's a deep lack of sporting ethics and it HAS to tarnish the context of those achievements. The media are such Pep boot-lickers they just can't be honest. And before anyone starts with "nO EviDENce!!". Middle-eastern companies paying City more in commercial deals than equivalent sponsorships at Barca, Madrid, United, Liverpool, Bayern and Arsenal... With a fraction of the global fanbase, does not add up. No business logic or value on investment at all. We know what it is. But hey, if the PL are weak as p*ss and City think they can just steamroll them in court... Good luck to them, but it's a sad era for the PL.

United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool have spent roughly as much, but some of those teams are a shambles. City are winners with or without the charges. It absolutely does. If you can build a better squad from financial doping. You are cheating. That squad doesn't exist if they follow the rules. Pep can't sign full back after full back or centre back after centre back until he gets what he needs. It's that simple. Over the last 10 years Manchester City have been absolutely amazing. Particularly under Guardiola. Best English team I’ve seen in my lifetime, possibly only second to Barcelona circa 2010. Congratulations to them, they’ve deserved it. 👏

It tarnishes the whole league (due to their inability to resolve the problem) but it absolutely tarnishes what city have done.

What nonsesne is this. Yes these players are a direct result of those 115+ charges as they would not of won so many titles due not being able to to attract or recruitment so many top players.

They weren't found 'not guilty' the first time around but their lawyers found a clause. The case was thrown out because of the time that had elapsed. That clause isn't in the FA's contract, as it was with Uefa.

It does tarnish them. Does anyone believe Guardiola or even a single player in that team would be there if it were not for the money, and by extension, the dodgy deals? They would not. Not a single one. City were a yoyo team before the Arab money and dodgy goings on arrived, and there's a decent chance they still would be today had history been different. As a group of players, yes they are exceptional, and in that context, then they are not to blame, but let's not kid ourselves and believe they would be playing for City without the rest of the City 'package'.
