My Momma gave me this song when I was going thru stage 3 cancer. She took me to my chemotherapy sessions everyday which was 35 miles one way and 35 miles back, and my beautiful Momma named Minnie Pearl played that song all the way up there and all the way back. She told me (Martha, now you listen to this.) She always called me Martha and that isn't my name but that's what she called me. Lol So I listen to that song everyday for 36 days that she drove me. And let me tell you , that song was part of my healing. It soaked into my soul . I was stage 3 cervical cancer, almost stage 4, I went thru radiation, radiation implants, and chemotherapy full doses they could give me and as much as they could give me. That was back in 2005, and I'm still cancer free. That song is beautiful and very true. Just reach out and grab the His hem of His garment. Thank you for writing that song. Rhonda (Martha) I give God glory for your continuous healing. I, too, am holding on to a thread of hope. For me it's not medical but emotional and I am trusting God that it doesn't break me but build me. I am holding on to His hem because I already slipped. I was suffering from anxiety because of the situation but I am holding on to Jesus who is my life line. God's blessings over you and all that concerns you

This was my testimony. Jesus miraculously reached down and healed me. I will never trust Drs again, but only Jesus. I dedicate my eternity to serving Him now.

The first time I heard this song was in 1993 as I was going to get a prescription for my Dad who had been given a short time to live, when I got back I told him about this song and not to let go of that last thread of hope. He went back to the hospital and went into a coma, they took everything off him and after a week he woke up and we got to keep him for another year and a few months. They called him their miracle boy because we didn't let go of that last thread of hope.

Lately I've fallen from my faith and have been wandering in darkness and to add my father has been very weak in health which made me very worried so I prayed with my family and I just came back to my room, I read a bible verse and suddenly I wanted to play this song . So I came here and when I listened to it , I felt at ease and cried like I was comforted by christ himself. Although my faith was fragile , The lord never left my side and I praise him for that.

I was just weeping over the losses in my life; especially the loss of my only son at 16, in my spirit the words 'thread of hope' arose so I Googled the phrase and it brought me here. I had asked the Lord in my weeping for help and something to speak to me as to why I'm still here. The soul pain is horrendous. This song...was His answer. I had never heard of this song before.

I never heard my mom sing gospel song's. I never saw or heard her pray. We never blessed our meals as a child. I remember fighting, screaming, cheating. I excepted Christ at 24 yr of age. I raised my kids the in a life I wanted and never had. I'm I better than my mom No, just saved by His grace. Mom except Christ and was born again. Mom's gone now and I know she's in heaven.

I love watching Jeff and Sheri Easter's music it's soothing to the heart, it's a music with healing..I'm watching all the time while I'm taking care of my husband who is a cardiac arrest survivor. Listening to their music is my reliever of everything as if I feel God is there touching my heart..with love from the Philippines.

I watched this video 18 years ago or so , I checked it out of the library at a Baptist church that I went to for a couple years in Lafayette , La.. It is a very inspiring song like no other ....The best in my opinion, I cry every time I listen to it ...... I saw The Power Team over there 3 times ...Amazing what those guy's can do ...
