These songs came out when we were young, so you will see a lot of grandparents in the crowd.

All those people having so much fun, were having just as much fun back in the 70's when this song came out. That's what music was about back then; being put into an AMAZING MOOD. Feeling great. Smiling. It was such a great time in the 70's and 80'. I LOVE SEEING YOU ENJOY THIS SO MUCH. This song transcends time, and you and I are enjoying it just as much, together, today. I was there when this song was released, and I've never stopped listening to it. Your reaction was awesome.

Yes, I would like to see more of the Electric Light Orchestra or as it nowadays called "Jeff Lynne's ELO". The change of the name is by the way completely right, because ELO in the studio is Jeff Lynne: he writes all the songs, he sings all the songs, he plays most of the instruments, he arranges the songs and produces the albums.

A friend of mine got to tour with them, what an experience

10/10 for not butting in every few minutes, love that you let the song play. AA+

Uh , kind sir, old people at a show of this magnitude, are reliving memories, when we were young. Back seats, cruising, talking on telephones with chords, first dances, graduations, etc. ❤

They are just as great here as they were back in 1979. The crowd came alive with the very 1st note and didn't stop until way after they did. I was in the nosebleed section. Still the best concert I've ever been to.

Lucky you! You must have been able to Feel the chemistry and energy amongst the crowd. That bounces to the band, they get off on it, and bounces that energy right back to everyone. If I can ever travel back in time when I die, going to this concert is on my bucket list.

I had the privilege to see them live back in 1978 at the Cow Palace in South San Francisco. And like you, that was the best live concert I've ever been to. They are off the hook on the stage..

I was fortunate enough to see ELO live in Tacoma in 2019, everything about it was incredible! And as you mentioned, the appeal crosses generations. There were “oldsters” like me and my husband and people with their kids or grandkids. Jeff Lynne is 75 years old.

Jeff Lynn was a total Genius!! I saw them in person. Jeff Lynn featured a wireless violin. Wrote the songs, did studio arrangements, played a ton of instruments. Also, when he played the wireless violin, he was walking up and down the rows of people at the concert!!

An amazing live performance! None better than Jeff Lynne!

Although this whole show and every song is dope, there's something about when the strings comes in that is absolutely magical. And I'm not sure I've ever seen a crowd so bouncy and happy before, it was extraordinary - and I'm a Deadhead! We're known for being bouncy and happy, but the chemistry amongst these people is palpable. I can only imagine what it must have felt like live. Jeff Lynne was a musical genius, and you are so right about the band having their own style. I don't believe, there ever was, or will ever be another band like "ELO" Jeff Lynne had a vision and the rest of the band members shared in that musical vision and together they produce Champaigne & Caviar. (👂🍬ear candy) I wonder if you'd like to check out some "Beatles" (I usually don't suggest the Beatles because they tend to get blocked or copy strikes {according to reactors that I have suggested music to before} But if you'd like to give it a try, I can suggest some tunes. Here's one of their songs "The Beatles - Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds (Remix)" (by the channel: The Beatles) --This song was written by John Lennon with the assistance of Paul McCartney and is from their 1967 album "Sgt. Jeff Lynne (who is from my home city of Birmingham, UK) is a fantastic musician and producer. E.L.O. had loads of greatw songs and sounded better live than on their studio versions. E.L.O. were still doing concerts just before the pandemic hit.

This is the second time tonight i've heard someone say "eelo"....this is an offense punishable by having your tongue forcefully removed from your mouth! E L O. Never. Never. Never eelo. I gotta go cringe now. Good content brother. Thanks for covering one of the greatest bands of all time. Loved how much you enjoyed it.

Couple of reasons they're also old is because that's when the music was popular were when they were kids and with the price of a ticket now day for a concert you better have a retirement plan! 🙂

Wembly Stadium holds 90,000, not counting special boxes and field seating... hadda be a hunnert thousand there. Cool thing, all the songs stayed mostly true to the studio versions. Us 'vintage', in the audience? Less hair, more wrinkles, same moves.
