I like Jeff, corner stone for many longtime fans even... buuuuut he needs to take the easier life. Last WWE run went sour, AEW run went sour, I fear for what a TNA run will do now. I am no longer excited, just worried.

You couldn't be more right, he needs to switch to a back stage role in one of the companies at this point. His body can't do this anymore...and maybe stepping away will help him with his personal issues.

I really wish Jeff would retire or move to a backstage role already. It's just sad to watch him at this point and he's risking even more injury which is bad for an addict, especially one who obviously uses his vices partly as a form of pain management.

I have a lot of love for Jeff. I hope that he can clean up and start living his life. Probably outside of wrestling. It looks like he's trapped in a cycle right now. He wants to wrestle. Wrestling causes him a lot of pain. He self medicates to deal with that pain. Substance abuse causes problems that prevent him from wrestling. He cleans up a little and then starts wrestling again. He needs to break that cycle.

Jeff ruined his run with AEW. They were set to have a run with the tag titles, and got his DUI just before it. So he's the only person to blame.

@robdurfee6861 people have said he took care of things for so long. His Victory Road debacle with Sting happened 13 years ago. He was suspended one month after debuting. Not a good look, and I don't blame bad booking for how he was treated because if he was booked strong and something like a DUI came up again, it would derail all plans.

Time and time again he is given chance after chance after chance with so many different promotions and each time the main cause for things failing is himself. Tony probably saw the dui as Jeff still being unreliable and decided to not put any trust in him

I feel like I'm one of the few people that doesn't like Jeff Hardy? I think like Punk, the baggage that comes with him is too much for me to enjoy the matches and stories. I can't invest knowing that any moment might be taken away by their backstage issues and antics.

I lost respect for Jeff a long time ago. I have no respect for someone who willingly gets behind a steering wheel while intoxicated. You not only put your own life at risk, but the lives of every person around you. He was one of my childhood heroes, so it was really disappointing to grow up and realize how much of a pos he actually is.

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since Jeff showed up in AEW.

The funny thing about Jade losing her stuff is within the last week was JUST a video by Maven saying you always bring your gear in your walk-on luggage so situations like this don’t happen 😂

I dont remember anyone in Cultaholic being against Jeff returning in AEW at all. Me & others in the comments yes, but dont recall any of them saying he didnt deserve another chance. If anything I remember thinking they were way too forgiving of Jeff personally.

After a nice rejuvination at TNA, Matt & Jeff need a final WWE run, HOF induction. AEW was not the place for them.
