I must say, it's taken me quite some time to warm up to this story. I think it needed time in the Danielson list of stories to percolate...once it did, I knew I had to do it! You are most welcome, Heather!

One of THE finest, most horrifically plaintive compositions I've ever come across, by one of KZread's finest composers! I knew when I heard that theme I had to do a narration of this story for my own, and include the music!

An amazing rendition of a classic! You make quite a disturbing Jeff. And I’m glad you’re getting support from other narrators. Everything sounded very professional. I really liked the old radio feel of the prologue. Now, I shall do as Jeff commands and go to sleeeeeep…

Thank you, Imaginary! Meh...I don't know if it was me getting support per se, haha, but I am not really looking for that, although it is nice when it happens for that reason. Mainly, I really enjoy multi-cast narrations, where multiple voices add dynamic value to a story. It's so much more rewarding to either be a part of such a project, or in Jeff the Killer's case, actually mix it. The prologue, omg that was one of the driving forces behind my actually narrating the story. I knew who I wanted to voice the TV personality, and the effects I wanted to employ...one of those little graces to be able to get it the way it turned out!

NICE! great job everyone. I love these full cast productions like how they used to be done on the Simply Scarey Podcast. I remember I used to always listen to you host on those and didn't even know you had your own channel until you did a collab with Unit 522 on his channel about a year ago. It's so nice to see you guys working together again.

Indeed it is going to be coming back, Crowmisfits :) I will be on Ep. 2, so Ep. 1 I will be away. But here, I have some new podcasts arriving/returning, so they should satiate! Nothing But Fear is returning, as well as a new podcast the audio and effects of which I am proofing with my patrons before it's release :) I should have the inaugural episode out, as well as Ep. 1 of the series this month.

Good stuff! I work with an artist who is looking to do some free work for exposure and I think his work would suit your channel really well (referring to Horror Readings by G.M. Danielson, not CTFN). He does a lot of horror/mythical creature type things, Cthulhu fan art, etc. let me know if you would be interested in working with him and I can put him in touch with you to work something out. He has been wanting to approach some youtube channels but he doesn't have his art online yet so he's been waiting until he launches his social media accounts and website in the next month so he can direct people to see examples of his work, but I figured I would mention it since we are conversing now. if you are interested I can get him to send you some samples of his work.

I would be very interested in working with him, possibly featuring some of his artwork! Part of my desire is to use the channel to promote other types of art, specifically music and artwork. Lovecraftian artwork is one of my passions, and it would be an honor. Has he considered DeviantArt? I've been on there with various accounts forever, it's a common place for all types of artists. I'd love to have a chat with him, you can pass my email on to him and give me his contact info as well. My email is in all my video descriptions :)

Absolutely horrible!! So Thank You G.M. Danielson and Guys!! :) :)

I got no clue why so many people hate the story. I admit it could be better (im actually trying to write my own version) but it's not nearly as bad as people like to say it is. It is actually more realistic than a lot of creepypastas. Jeff's fighting is pretty good too. And as for how ambiguous some of it is? That's another good thing about it. You can use your imagination to fill in the gaps. For example it doesn't specify what type of knife. So you can use your imagination. Bowie knife, kitchen knife, hunting knife, size, shape, you name it. (I always imagine him with a chefs knife. Same weapon Michael Myers uses.) His mindset is customizable as well. It doesn't specify his mindset. You can imagine his motive however you want. You can interpret "go to sleep" however you want. There are many things to enjoy about the story. And many of the remakes and unofficial sequels.

Good for you for writing your own version, Jerry! The story has good and bad parts, but that is what most amateur stories suffer from. That doesn't make it truly bad, or unworthy of recording or in your case enjoying. Glad you found my version and gave it a listen.

The kid being interviewed in the beginning has a good vocabulary.

This story represents one of the all-time great urban legend creepypastas, I definitely wanted to give it the audiobook treatment :) Most of the piano music is by Myuu...the theme is his *Jeff the Killer* piece, so definitely special!

Hi Megan, a great first video to watch on my channel! Concerning ads, it's how those of us who spend hours making these narrations earn some money, so it is very helpful when our subscribers let the ads play through. You don't have to listen to them, just let them play. I do it for other channels I watch, it helps all the folks out there like me who are working very hard to produce quality content. :) You wished I put what is face looked like? You mean Jeff?
