I have an autoimmune disease that requires chemo and my immune system is shot. I got delta covid in December and compared to my disease, covid was absolutely terrifying. I thought I would die choking on my own chest gunk. So Jeff describing covid as worse absolutely rang true for me as well. Healing vibes to this man 💜💜

Yeah I've been disabled since 2006 and despite all the times I almost died due to the lymphedema in my legs nothing scared me more than when I had Covid. Hope you're doing OK.

I’m glad Jeff Bridges is ok. He is a national treasure. God bless him.

I love Jeff bridges! Blessed to met him years ago and he’s the sweetest man with a huge heart!

So love this man. Very happy he and the Mrs are well! Great actor. Great human being.

The fact that he survived both illnesses he's gonna live forever

This made me feel like crying with happiness and a feeling of "goodness"...a brief relief from a world that so often feels angry and dark!

Ever since he was a child, I've loved Jeff! How great that he recovered from his illness to stick around and be an example of what a Good Guy is!!

I love Jeff Bridges and so many of his films.

This guy, is amazing! So SO SO happy he is doing ok!!

Jeff is always and will be in my top 3 actors I've loved every single one of his movies

I'm thrilled that Jeff Bridges over came his cancer and COVID. My husband and I are big fans of his. When we were married 8 years ago, I acquiesced to have our ceremony, which was a small get together, performed by "The Dude" via my now brother-in-law. There is actually a religion called "Dudiesm", did not know this. They are huge fans of "The Big Lebowski". Now, as of February, I found out I have metastatic melanoma (through having a stroke) in my brain and I'm doing well after immunotherapy and radiation. I also have a positive attitude, incredible medical staff and the love of my hubby and my family and friends. It makes a difference. My hope is that he continues on the road he's on. Peace!!!!!

He's a legend. Such a great actor and even a better human being.

I remember as a kid watching his father in Sea Hunt ! 🥰

What an absolute gem of a person.

Jeff is who I want to be when I grow up. He always shouts out T-Bone Burnett. The type of lymphoma he got is one of the very worst diagnosis you can get. Yes covid is horrible. Mr. Bridges is so humble and grateful and unassuming its easy to discard him as not the talented man he is. My Dad hated him. Refused to watch the Big Liebowski because he said he was only famous because of his dad and was a slob. You have to look deeper and not let your jealously warp the reality. My neighbors dog a puppy she just got is named The Dude. Some how I just knew Jeff was a dog guy.

So glad to see he’s well, I adore this man!

Another saying is you don't know what you have until you lose it. Been fit my whole life but I've lost my health and believe me, if you don't have your health you really do have nothing. Jeff's positivity did help lift me up though. He's such a genuine human being.

Jeff, you’re my all time fave, brother! I’m glad you’re well and thank you for this all too timely message that we’re all in this together…

I used to see Jeff walking down the streets of Livingston, MT, he had his hair grown out and I thought, "is that what he does so people don't recognize his?", But then months later The Big Lebowski movie came out and I thought again, "what a cool dude!". I glade to see him healthy, I hope he could do another Rooster Cogburn remake (John Wayne classic), the one with Catherine Hepburn, he did a wonderful job in True Grit!

Back when Jeff Bridges was promoting True Grit, I was part of the Jimmy Kimmel audience and I got to be the King of the show. Jeff Bridges got to play the guitar later and he called me out to come on stage off-screen and he was such a genuine guy. Taught me how to act for 2 minutes 😂. Glad he recovered from Cancer and got back on the show. Thank you JKL and Jeff for such an amazing memory!

I totally resonate with Jeff. I had a similar issue at age 30 and I compared it to a rebirth. It's a journey.

The Dude abides man.

The Dude appreciates everyone now, didn’t know his family loved him so much. All his girls picked good men they married. You go through a near death experience being told in hospital by doctor, you may not make this. However, please stay calm and work with us. I went through having blood clots in both legs having it controlled but not cured. I went through being transferred to three different hospitals until I was treated at the University of Maryland hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. I went through exploratory surgery of the blood clots. Doctors stated if you live this will save more lives. However, when you see your children visit you with their eyes lighted up happy to see you alive saying Dad they said you may die, but didn’t believe them. You are a man on fire doing your best to eventually leave the hospital. Love is a great thing! I know what Jeff Bridges was saying found out my family loves me. He saw their eyes, worried about dad not the dude in the movies.

Jeff has always been an outstanding human being and a role model for me growing up during my fifty years of my life. I absolutely love his dad and love Jeff just as much. Starman, Flynn in Tron, the dude, Rooster Cogburn. The list goes on. Just so happy and thankful he gets to stay with us here on earth a little longer. Love you Jeff, you are a shining star.

I’m nearly as old as Jeff and I remember his dad in “Sea Hunt”. Lloyd Bridges.

It is the most wonderful feeling seeing the Dude in such a good condition again! Far out, man!!!

Being a Cancer survivor, I get what he said ,that you learn so much and yes life is a gift a beautiful gift !

I'll just say something different from everybody else about Jeff Bridges. He is one of the few men who can have long or no hair at all and it always looks good in him. He is blessed with a special kind of head. 😀

My 2022 was spent with lung cancer surgery, chemo and COVID. I'm the same age as Bridges. I know exactly what Jeff is trying to convey. It's not easy to explain the appreciation you have for the love of family, friends and looking at life with more clarity. I want it to hang on to this feeling. I don't want my time remaining and the routine of life to take the shine off this new view of life.

I've been on chemotherapy for 2 years to treat metastatic breast cancer. Mr. Bridges has become a voice for many of us. Thankfully I haven't had Covid yet, but this man is living my nightmare. I have secondary cancer in my lungs, so I just got my 3rd covid booster shot. Even with the shot, Covid can be really dangerous to some people. I wish him and his family all the best! It sounds like they could use a break from bad news for a while.

Love Jeff Bridges. Against All Odds is still one of my favorite movies and I went to Tulum, Mexico in the 80s because the location was so beautiful in the movie. This new show looks great. I hope he's fully recovered and keeps acting, because he's a great actor. 💖💗💖
