What makes this lesson really good. Is that you did it without a whammy bar. Your bends and vibrato are superb. We all miss Jeff. Thanks Mike for giving the gift of music to aspiring guitarists everywhere. 🎸 Peace.

This is brilliant teaching and playing. So beautiful and skillful. Really gets underneath what the great Jeff Beck was doing, helping me think of what the song is really saying. Thanks 🙏

Hey Mike. Thanks for this lesson. Jeff is my number one greatest of all time, and yet I have never tried to tackle any of his tunes. He just always seems untouchable. But, now your lesson has landed in my lap, I'm going to give it a go. Thanks again.

Jeff was why I picked up a Tele as a kid having no clue at that age that he was using an Esquire with The Yardbirds. I loved Jeff's temperament which mellowed over the years, but if he couldn't play what he wanted that day or he couldn't get the sound that day he would be pretty miserable to be about. Beck had a career trajectory that continued to grow and explore and not just stay in the Yardbird style or JBG style, etc. Stunned at his passing.

Nice lesson Mike! I was just watching a Beck and Clapton live jam on it. Interesting to watch Clapton have a blow and put his own spin on it. Loved that jazzy run you did around the 15:09 mark. Lots of tasty ideas, I'm taking notes

Brilliant lesson, like another comment above I've never dared tackle any Jeff Beck but this lesson is perfect and I'm up and running playing it, gradually finding ways to explore around the simple melody. My family are going to be driven mad listening to my loop though :)

That's great to hear... exactly what I wanted the lesson to be.. get up & running with the melody & chords so you can actually play the song .. then research/experiment with the ways Jeff & you feel like embellishing the tune.. u could spend months learning the JB transcription note for note & still not be able to play it for people.. Keep on it David!

He was one of my favorites, followed his own ground breaking path. About your gear what is the device on top of your power station? Thanks for all of your great lessons.
