One of my regrets in life is not ever seeing him live. I was actually thinking about it a lot right before he passed as I am 62 yr old and he was up there in age. The Absolute best guitarist that ever lived in my opinion

Well my friend, your opinion is absolutely right! Fortunately I saw Jeff Beck live several times! And let me share this with you and everyone, afterwards when I would see him live I just wanted to go home, build a big bonfire in my backyard and then burn every guitar I owned, haha! I mean how could a human being actually be that good at playing a guitar?! It is impossible! Hell, I'm not just exaggerating! I know some really famous guitarists and musicians. I'm 74 years old and have played guitar since age 12 (and I was damn good in my day). But Jeff Beck...he was from a different universe than the rest of us! He was an Alien Time Traveler who had seen the future of the evolution of wwhat a guitar was actually capable of sounding like, came back to the present time and took everyone else to school, haha! God, this one really hurts. I miss him so much. I know many do miss him. I have all of his older albums in my vinyl collection and then the cassettes and then the CD's. You just can't have enough Jeff Beck.

I've always loved this solo. What blows my mind is that i just found out last night that he didn't use a slide for the solo. It was him and his incredible use of the tremolo bar. I've always thought it was slide guitar because that's EXACTLY what it sounds like.

Bon Jovi talks in awe to this day about how Jeffie had a rented Amp, I believe and a brand new Strat in a box. He basically pulled out the Strat of the box. A plain old everyday Strat. Because as we all know, it's in the hands and the heart. Somehow, he surpassed his friend on the instrument, anyway Jimi would be the first to agree, I think. He's the Best we've ever seen. Beck was as true Master of the 🎸 As John McLaughlin knowledgeable talent. Saw Beck preform twice and McLaughlin 4 times. All were Amazing Experiences. Only saw Duane Allman once in his extremely short career 😢 He wasn't much on Showmanship as Hendrix 😉 But it wasn't necessary for Duane was totally ONE WITH THE 🎶💯👍🥰

It's a good cover but it's not Jeff Beck. Compare it to the released song - the acoustic guitar is missing, the drums prior to the solo are off and the second to last note of the solo is wrong. Do a side by side comparison and see if I'm wrong.

Get y’all facts straight.. When this album was in the making, Sambora left the band to pursue a solo career… It wasn’t Jon’s solo album.. (He never had one😳🙄🙄) it was the the album for the “ Young Guns”

That's why it was comical watching Sambora try to play Beck's lead when Bon Jovi did this live. As good as Richie is, he ain't Jeff Beck and couldn't come close.

It's a good cover but it's not Jeff Beck. Compare it to the released song - the acoustic guitar is missing, the drums prior to the solo are off and the second to last note of the solo is wrong. Do a side by side comparison and see if I'm wrong.
