Great job on that hardline! Though it looked a bit precarious there for a second. I find it amazing those tires still grip with all that mud on em.

It was super slick! I was lucky to have any traction at all

Yeah that red clay is slick as owl snot especially after that storm came thru Friday

Awesome looking jeep and love that you’re not afraid to use it. I’ve been meaning to ask how those balancing beads are working for you in your tires.
@_everydayoffroad_
Жыл бұрын
I had a poor experience with the balancing beads. I need to make a quick video on it, but in short I had a pretty bad shimmy in the front end/steering wheel around 40-45 mph and was not happy with them. Vacuumed them out and took them up to the tire shop to have them traditional balanced.

@@_everydayoffroad_ sorry for the bad experience but thank you for the update. I was considering using those but now I’ll probably also do the traditional balance after your feedback.

Unfortunately it’s a 50/50 chance at them working. My friend and I are the perfect example, he just put balance beads in his nitto 38x12.50 trail grapplers when he mounted his beadlocks and they’ve performed great. I had the opposite experience where having the beads in the tire actually rode worse than having no balancing at all. I would recommend a traditional balance just to be safe and not ending up having to do something twice.

Hawk Pride wet is a completely different park than when its dry. It makes some fairly easy trails very difficult when its wet

@@_everydayoffroad_ would you say the 37s make a noticeable difference over 35? I’m debating it but at minimum need high lines, psc steering, couple of suspension tweaks

Yes the clearance difference is very noticeable. It is definitely worth the upgrade. The steering honestly doesn’t feel as bad as it sounds, but will be doing a hydro assist ram at some point in the future.
