This kit contains a set of 2.50-inch springs, sway bar links, and bump stops for a complete base lift that doesn’t compromise on handling. Lift Coil Set. The Teraflex 2.50-inch Base Lift Kit contains a pair of front coils and a pair of rear coils. These spring coils bring up your suspension by 2.50 inches. It is recommended to use Longer Shocks or use Shock Extensions (Teraflex part# 1985200) if you wish to re-use your factory shocks.

PSA: To 99% of the people installing the base kit without shocks, extra front bump stop spacers, sway bar link brackets, track bar brackets etc. At home with Jack stands and no lift. YOU DON'T NEED ALL THAT SHIT IT IS JUST A BASIC 2.5 SUSPENSION UPGRADE. You don't need to loosen your track bar and control arms at all, you do need to disconnect the breather hoses and the CAD cable though. If you run into trouble fitting the new front coils even after using the coil compression tool just get a hi-lift jack and Jack the front side you are working on, use a d ring as jack point (work on one side at a time leave one side with the tire on the ground but disconnect both sway bar links). With a 48" hi lift you don't even need coil compressors. Good luck don't over think it.

so everything it comes with is good to go? you dont need to buy more stuff? I saw people say you need to buy like shock extensions to address the shocks or will the stock shocks and this kit pair ok?

Teraflex states to install the front sway bar end links upside down and the top nut on the outside. This is to prevent clearance issues. Does it matter?

How come it says at 10:20, when the brake line bracket is cut off, that the bracket is being replaced with one from the kit? This kit doesn't seem to come with a brake line bracket, and I don't see one in the video either.

Congrats on the new ride! I'd recommend a lift, definitely. To fit 35" tires you'll want at least 1.5 or 2 inches of lift. Lift kits on the cheaoer end of things will run you about $200 or so. Check out the following link for a good example! -Zach www.extremeterrain.com/teraflex-15-sport-s-t1-suspension-lift-kit-2018-jeep-jl-4-door.html

I installed this kit yesterday on a 2021 JL 4 door. Some of the parts that you show as included in your kit are not included, such as the rear track bar relocation bracket, and the additional pads or spacers for the bump stops. Has Teraflex just decided to sell incomplete kits, so that they can charge you more for what you thought you were getting? The quality of the included parts are fine, but now the Jeep is stuck on a lift for a week while I order and pay and wait for parts that were shown as included.

The parts included on the 2.5 inch basic kit are all you need to get your jeep up and running. You don't need a track bar relocation bracket, you don't even need to unbolt the track bar. Loosening the control arms bolts should give you enough flex to drop the axle to ground level. You don't need the bump stop spacers unless you are running 37s.

I just purchased this exact kit but I am missing 2 sway bar links. The strange thing is that the parts list in the manual states that there’s only 2 sway bars included. Are 2 not needed after all? The instructions still reference replacing both the front and rear sway bar links.

This kit absolutely will fit with the 3.0L EcoDiesel Wrangler! The only thing is since this is made for all engine configurations, and the 3.0L diesel is a good bit heavier than the 3.6L or 2.0L - you're likely going to notice the front end still having some rake after lifting. You may want to pair this kit with an additional 3/4" spacer if you want to level out your Jeep. -Zach

Kits like these are great if you want to purchase shocks that aren't available with this kit from Teraflex! So if you want to pair a Teraflex lift with Fox or Bilstien shocks, you can! -Zach

Since this is the base suspension option of the Teraflex lift kits, that's why it's not as inclusive as other choices. Really just the necessities you need to get the height! Then you can add onto it to your personal preference. We do agree that a track bar in addition to this kit would make the world of difference with ease of alignment!

To be fair, Teraflex also offers the same kit with their 9550 shocks included as well! They also have an option with their Falcon 2.1 Shocks and replacement lower control arms if you have more room in your budget.
