ABOUT ME
Hi I'm Loui! I am an adventurer at heart who loves to share every step of the way. My travels so far ,via camper van, jeep camper, and foot, have taken me all over North America. I started this channel in 2019 in hopes of inspiring other people like me who didn't exactly grow up living an adventurous lifestyle and who might be afraid to get started on their own adventures. Since then, it has turned into my full time job and something that I very passionate about. So, stick around to see the journey unfold!

This young lady did a really nice job on her Jeep. She saved a huge amount of weight and space using soft bags instead of buying or building wood/particle board cabinets and she has it really nicely appointed for what she is doing. Lovely girl and her pooch is the coolest. Wishing them save travels and adventures!

Yup, soft bags, even pillow cases are the way to go for moldable storage containers in a small nomad rig.

I love how excited you are in this to show off your build and share the essentials and feels like you genuinely want to help others and not just do it for the clout, ego, vanity, money, etc... I really like the minimal, absolutes and nothing more and it's all realistic and not stuff you have to have technical skills or advanced equipment or tools to achieve. You so real. I love it and that's why I enjoy you and your channel! Thank you! Good info and I love your Jeep!

This is one of the best and most efficient builds I have seen. Everything is well thought out and looks like trial and error over the years really paid off!! I have been watching and wanted to do a 4x4 sprinter of some sort but this seems so much more practical and the off road capability and stealthiness are 100x’s better. Amazing job on the video, thanks for sharing!! Cheers.

I love the simplicity of your build - a kindred spirit. I’m about a year into a similar setup for my Bronco. Since I’m not full time on the road, I haven’t done a rear seat delete. And, at 6’-3” tall I had to get creative on the sleeping deck. I may do a similar video on my setup soon. Thanks

I got my first duck about two months ago and I had no idea what it meant…I’ve had a jeep for over 10 years and I was still oblivious… Lol. Anyway hearing you ask to get a duck for your jeep inspired me to go out on Amazon and buy a big box of ducks so I can return the favor to fellow Jeep Wrangler owners. Good luck on your travels and hopefully, one of these days, when I finish my travel van and I’m driving around in the western part of the country, I’ll get to meet inspiring and amazing people like yourself on the road.

Nice job on the build and the narrating. It really shows your love for the outdoors and adventure something i always dream about. Overlanding is so cool and exciting i think everyone should do it. I love the simplicity of Overlanding and the joy that comes with it. Totally jealous only in the way that i wish i could do it full time too but totally excited for others that they can fulfill their dreams and live their life now the way they want too. I would suggest a locker for sure if your planning on going the distance on those minimum maintenance roads. A winch is awesome alone by itself but if you plan on going where there's rocks you better plan on a locker but otherwise 4 wheel drive and a winch will get you most places but i still would recommend a locker for the extra security. I like the ARB from Australia because they are a trusted reliable brand that backs up their product plus you get an air compressor to boot for airing down tires. Australian Overlanding companies are legit and they've been doing the exploring and Overlanding stuff alot longer than anyone else so im sure you can trust them but ultimately its up to you want you want. Like i always say do the research diligently and you'll have your answer on what works best for you. Have a great day and enjoy your life of adventures. 😊

Hey Loui, I think you've done a nice job with the build!!! I love using my diesel heater, and if you plan to start using yours soon, you may wish to consider moving up to a bit larger sized lithium rechargeable solar battery. The diesel heater will consume more electricity than you are currently using without it. If your electricity runs out, while the diesel heater is running, the fan will stop and the motherboard will melt from the heat in the combustion chamber. Also, I set it up to run on the Hz setting, not thermostat. I run it on low, and it gives off more than enough warmth. If you use it on thermostat, the heater will cycle on and off, and the energy used to fire-up the glow plug will consume a ton more energy than if you let it run on low over night. Cheers
