Brighter and More Powerful Light. If your 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK is equipped with bumper mounted fog lights from the factory and you seek something more powerful, examine these Axial LED Fog Lights. These 4” round LED fog lights will emit a brighter, more powerful beam of light to improve driving visibility. The 6000K color temperature of the LED bulbs in this fog light kit will project a whiter and more intense beam of light to turn night into day. This kit will ensure your Jeep is ready to tackle the darkest and murkiest off-road terrain while facilitating easier recovery during night operations.
Made to Last. The Axial LED Fog Lights are equipped with high-powered CREE LED bulbs with an ultra-bright light output of 1020 lumens and a power output of 30 watts. Unlike ordinary halogen bulbs, LED bulbs will consume 60% less power and are rated to last for up to 50,000 hours of non-stop use. The LED bulbs are housed inside an epoxy sealed and die-cast aluminum housing that is rated IP65 waterproof for all-weather and all-terrain applications. This kit is DOT and SAE certified for legal street use.
Straightforward Installation. The Axial LED Fog Lights are designed to bolt directly in the factory mounting points with no drilling or modifications required. The kit comes with plug-and-play wiring adapters for a quick and pain-free installation. You can expect to complete the job in approximately 1 hour or less using basic hand tools only. These LED fog lights are perfectly designed for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JK Unlimited.

This video might a bit old but it saved me a LOT of time and frustration by simply following the directions here and removing the front bumper. New fog lights are installed and working great! Thanks Merideth! (BTW the torque for the front bumper isn't mentioned in the video but it should be 66.5 ft lb)

I would recommend spraying the nut and bolt in advance of taking off the bumper.! Guarantee it will make it easier, taking them off and putting them back on.

Well produced video and very helpful. However, it glosses over the fact that the beam adjustment screws on the new lights are on the opposite side from the stock lights. The hole in the bumper through which you can adjust the beam will be on the wrong side of the new lights, so you'll need to drill new holes in order to adjust the beam. Also, the plug on the supplied harness is opposite of the plug coming from the Jeep. Therefore, the plugs on the Jeep and the supplied harnesses need to be cut off and connected directly together (ie bare wire to bare wire). The video shows a brief attempt at pushing the two connectors together but then quickly cuts away, because the two are incompatible. I installed on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport.

Roger that. I ended up using the old housing for each light. That way I was able to keep my adjustment hole lined up with the screw. Works great. I thought it was kinda weird that it wasn't brought up in the vid.

So I'm holding these lights in my hand and I'm just now learning they're not compatible with my Rock Hard bumper. They match my new headlights though, so I really want to keep them. Looks like I'm gonna be fabricating something. Thanks for the definite answer to my question. I really appreciate this channel.

My 2007 had 8 bolts to remove bumper but otherwise the same. I have a skirrt between bumper and grill which Incouldnt remove, had to do it all from below, but fine. My kit came with extra harness for splicing into side daylights, but i removed this so fog lights just come on when parking or headlights on. Took a couple hrs and video way better than included instructions,

Any links on how to adjust fog light . Mine are aimed way too high and I was hoping to not have to remove the bumper to do so as that makes it more difficult to adjust and get it right the first time

You shouldn't have to remove your bumper to adjust your fog lights. I think they did it in this video to make it easier to show the camera. The adjustment screw Meredith mentions @5:32 will allow you to aim your fog lights up or down.

If the clips on the wiring harness broke I would recommend to wire in another plug to make sure it's weather resistant.

It is really essential to remove the bumper or can you get at the screws and replace the fog lights by removing the splash guard alone? I see it makes access to the fog lights easy, but.......

  • @0426dav

Due to their size, You won't be able to remove the fog lamps after you unscrew them from the bumper. You either have to remove the sway bar or the bumper to get them out.

@@0426dav On my 2010 Jeep there is a panel on top just behind the bumper and under the grill. I just removed that panel and the splash guard and was able to replace them without having to remove the bumper. The lights can fit thru the top.
