In this video I show you the differences between the 2 versions. This hybrid Wrangler let's you offroad in total silence, which is a crazy experience.
The Wrangler 4xe is the first PHEV with a Tru-Lok front & rear locking differential. It is paired with a 2.0L I4 DOHC direct-injection Turbo engine and two electric motors, one that powers the car while in EV mode and a starter-generator that is connected to the crankshaft pulley.
The sealed & waterproof 17.3-kWh lithium-ion battery pack can be recharged by the brake booster or by AC charging up to 7.7 kW.

I went with the Rubi. One of the first things I had to do with it was a round trip to florida @ 2600 miles and I didn't regret it even then.

As much as i hate swapping V6 and V8 for smaller displacements, i think that going for a hybrid is the right choice, i just would love to see more V6 at least in that configuration.

Really cool video today! It was fun to watch. I think I would take the rubicon, because why not. The blue stiching on the interior looks so amazing!

Thanks! I like the Rubicon too. Only thing is the 80th Anniversary edition is more silent when driving on the highway. But it’s not worth the extra money over the Rubicon imo…

Noticed you were in 2WD on the 0-60 launch. Power is MAJORLY cut in the first 3 gears unless you're in 4WD.

ah i love jeep cars! my dad had a blue wrangler and my grandpa has a patriot, so I'm a bit attached to the nostalgia they bring. i think they feel sturdy and utilitarian but still comfortable. i like them

How is it to drive on a long distance trips, on the highway, is it noisy inside, from the tires and wind. Its either Jeep Wrangler or the Ford Ranger Raptor V6, although in Europe this engine puts out 292 hp, not 394 hp like in US/Australia. Cheers from me in Norway

thanks! Yes, I get these cars from the brands to test drive. How? I've been working and networking in the automotive sector for some years now, doing video production work and creating other visual content. I started this channel last year as a test case while learning how to properly build and maintain a KZread channel. In the beginning it was nearly impossible to get cars, but now more brands start supporting me, for which I am very grateful! 🙏

It's about 9k up from the comparably equipped Sahara/Rubi. It's hard to see that, as a lot of things like LED lighting are standard on the 4xe while not on the standard version. Anyhoo, in most places, you get a 7500 tax credit, meaning you're actually spending 1500 more for a 100HP power adder that can also propel you 22+ miles without gas and comes with a 100k mile warranty. Not bad, if ya ask me. :)
