The thing that impresses me the most about the Fuso camper is where they put the bed right behind the cab so it's like a sleeper on a semi. But also is so easy to access from the camper too. This way you can pull into a rest stop and slide into bed for a nap without having to go outside the truck. I'm more of an Isuzu guy, but the Fuso is a popular truck brand all over the world. So parts won't be that big of a deal. Unless you're talking $ price.

Have a 94 like that red one I bought new, its got low miles, lives in our small town haha. My grand daughter just got a e box truck, 7.3L a 2022 with only 1180 on odo or so. so far shes only done pass through door, removed rear roll up, installed offset sliding door with security door, a lift gate. In a few days she will be cutting side for a door, welding her interior tube skeletal instead of heavy wood build. Shes figuring out suspension along with 4x4 conversion. haul a small trailer for her advx 750, tools, extra power, water, and fuel, an extra storage freezer. She has suzuki jimny shes swapping a tacoma 4.0L into, she will also maybe keep inside the trailer as its very small and light weight/narrow.

No question get it - had i known this was for sale and what the ask price was I would have made an offer as well. Unsure what all the offroad mods are on it but once you get past the different style when driving it offroad, the capabilities of this WILL surprise you. It won't rock crawl but will go way beyond any sprinter or even standard truck camper can in this price range. Do a youtube search for Robert Pepper's channel to see what they do with these in the aussie outback if you don't believe me (or just google fuso canter 4x4 offroad). Camper boxes can always be replaced (or get one custom built w/o slides while this one is getting used). What you are really getting is a commercial truck that is specifically designed to handle high payloads, over many many miles of driving vs a normal passenger vehicle yet still fit in a normal parking spot! That is why this and the Isuzu would be my top picks for expedition / full time travel. One off grid tip - get rid of that cassette toilet and replace it with a dual separation toilet instead. Otherwise you will be forced to head back to civilization sooner to keep emptying the tank vs how long your water, fuel, and solar can last. Cheers

She was driving full throttle on highway with everyone come to a stop. Keep up the content. Thanks

About your Gladiator, you said along time ago the reason you went with no cab over bunk, was because it pushed you to make a decision to get going every morning because your bed is all of your living space, and seeing how excited you are about a separate bed from the living space, if you were doing your gladiator over, or just building a new camper, would you opt for a cab over? Do you feel that if you had a separate, permanent bed in the gladiator, you’d be more reluctant to move on?

Hey Phil, I’m loving this Fuso series. If you run this series long enough, you might bring in enough ad revenue to pay for the Fuso. Seriously though, these videos are a hoot to watch. Nice to see Happy in a KZread video. It’s been too long brother since you posted on your channel. And I’m glad to see you’re selling the Fuso and keeping your awesome Ambo conversion. You are truly an ambo guy. My Ambo conversion is just about done and I’ll be trying to meet up with you again when I pass through AZ on my way to Mexico. If that bike I saw in the back of the pickup is yours, that would be cool as I’ll have my Harley trike with me when I head south. Anyway I did digress. Phil, the video was excellent. Keep the fun rolling, that’s what makes your channel so entertaining.

how many miles on the fuso & what is the MPG ... I am building out a Sprinter Van (new) for living full-time .. I am building it like the storyteller as I love that platform. I wanted to go bigger but I am going to stealth camp sometimes in cities with my EUC's I ride and I think 19-20 foot 144wb sprinter is right for me full time. I use to ride one wheels but once I got into EUC's I just cant go back although I love what one wheel did for me back in 2018-2020 !!u should try an euc if you can... if u learn you will be flying off road on one. CCheers and best of luck if you get the FUSO-- for the f350 either live in it with a topper or sell it... life is meant to be lived not waiting around.

Fitting inside a standard cargo container was one of the big selling points for the EarthCruiser which also had been built on this Fuso truck platform. Unfortunately, EarthCruiser, at least their US operations, has gone bust. I always loved their Fuso based vehicles, but once they redesigned them for a newer platform, the price skyrocketed, and the newer rigs were outside my price range.

You won't be satified with the lack of capabilty of the Fuso. There are plenty of other vehicles that would have that level of capabilty and far more living space than the Gladiator. If you don't want people to answer a question you ask. Then don't ask it. I am unsuscribing because of your reply to my comment. Do better going forward, learned from this interaction.
