In this quick video I install some Jeep speaker upgrade using genuine Mopar Kicker speakers on my Wrangler JK.

I have had my Jeep Wrangler for a while now and have always thought about upgrading the speakers as the audio was just never as good as compared to my other cars. I found these Kicker speakers on Amazon that stated they were a direct fit for Jeep Wrangler vehicles and were even a genuine Mopar product. They were $75 a pair. So I purchased two pairs. Two for the front and two for the rear sound bar.
The three benefits I noticed after installing these speaker upgrade for my Jeep was the volume. I do not have to turn up my factory deck as high to have the same volume level as before on the stock speakers. I also noticed the bass is a lot more prominent and responsive. Finally, the clarity or sharpness of the mids and highs are higher and cleaner.
I am very happy with these Jeep speaker upgrades from Kicker.

Right on. I just purchased 2 of these for the soundbar and can't wait to hear the difference! I've been told you can tear the old ones apart for the mounting bracket and use any 6.5" speaker.

@@JMGENTERPRISES got em in and yes! Wow! Amazing difference! Now I'm working on getting the soundbar to stop vibrating 😛. Tightened the mounts, put foam in around the speakers, stuffed foam in between the soundbar and the metal it mounts to. Almost there. 👍

do you need a wiring kit or are these speakers just plug and play?

I just wired mine to the existing wires. I did have to soder them to make a strong connection
Would I be able to put these on my 2020 jeep wrangler 4x4 Sahara ?

For my needs, the stock deck is more than loud enough.
