Wow! Okay, scale models are not my cup of tea but that was really amazing. I did not realize how big it actually is until I saw it rolling. Well done!

Excellent. I have admired the LRDG for years. If you look closely at my jeep you might see the LRDG logo on the door (Excellent. J'admire le LRDG depuis des années. Si vous regardez attentivement ma jeep, vous verrez peut-être le logo LRDG sur la porte.) From America...

Funny, in the photo of Sterling [?] at frame 1:41 they have American -made''Blitz'' brand Jerrycans lashed to the hood. You would have thought the orignal Wehrmachtskanisters fur brennstoff would have been more logistically probable. If it's a genuine shot from 1942 it shows the flexibility of US industry to jump on copying enemy technology and get product out to an Ally two continents away in record time. Superb model. Tres bon.

In World War II photos and videos, some SAS jeep had German jerry cans, and I think the SAS had to get everything they could for them, especially if it was gasoline. And German jerrycans cost me less on aliexpress than 3D printing US jerrycans ;)

@@patrickgaulon8134 Of course. I have a few old Chevy trucks [67-72] They are gas hogs, but I love them. I've had to use a lot of real jerry cans to keep up my gasoline addiction. The German style are better made. I know from personal experience. As for your excellent model, the SAS would have used whatever they could get. So it's hardly unhistorical. I was only marvelling at how quickly US industry got their version into the supply lines.

I can't believe no-one has commented on this build of yours yet! This is beautiful. I have been racking my brain about how to do this and d it well and you nailed it. Can you tell be where you bought the machine guns? and exactly what color paint you used? brand, color, etc. The fact that you are using the expensive Edward MacDonald is a testament to the care you put into this build. and is that a Douglas Caldwell in the drives seat? Bravo sir. I would love to make one as well as you have.

Thank you for the compliment. It’s Douglas Caldwell and Edward Macdonald. For the Vickers machine guns it's a friend who printed them in 3D to me in resin we do not find them in the trade. I’m the one who paints them with weathering. And thank you again for your compliment. I made a second jeep for a Dutchman. Watch the second video of the jeep ;) facebook.com/groups/643468226204110/posts/935666936984236/
