Jeep Overland Adventure - Faced with the Unexpected | Still Found an Amazing Historic Site!!!
Another Jeep Overland back country adventure in the Oregon Outback. On this adventure I explore some of the amazing remote deserts in search of a lost moonshiners hideout. Join me for some amazing scenery, overland camping, camp cooking, and searching for lost history.
On this adventure I was faced with an unexpected situation that forced me on a midnight run. In the end a crisis was avoided and I found an amazing historic relic that has been on my bucket list for a long time!!!
Hope you enjoy joining me for more of my overland, car camping, history hunting, and exploring in more of my videos. Above all, I hope you find some adventures of your own!
Cheers,
Casey

Awesome adventure, Casey! You made the right choice, putting distance between yourself and the other campers. Firearms and alcohol = danger. Glad you were able to safely navigate to a new spot. I love your passion for locating historical homesteads and artifacts. I’ve said it before…you’re the best overland adventurer on KZread! See you on your next adventure! Be well.
I have watched you for years, I have watched every episode and sometimes more than once. Would love to see ya post more. You have inspired me throughout the years . I’ve been in Colorado in the Rockies for over 2 yrs and I have my own over-landing rig. If you ever want to come out let me know.
Those junipers! They're an amazing species - I've read that they can be 100s or even over a 1000 years old. But some also consider them an invasive species - drinking up desert water and crowding out sagebrush . All interesting stuff.
Hey Casey! Good to see one of your videos again. Yes, you made the right call packing up and moving camps. A little extra effort but totally worth it. Let those fools be their own problem. Your next spot looked even better, protected by the Juniper trees, and with a great meadow for viewing. Sad to see the remains of the homestead that burned down, and what those people must have gone through, but it's history and I'm glad you found it and were able to piece it together. Eggs and hash are the real deal. People immediately think of corned beef hash, but roast beef hash is really good for breakfast too. Hope all is well and I'll be looking forward to the next one. Take care, my friend! Pete - KI7LIL

Next time bring your Kevlar vest but I know what you’re talking about went down to black rock desert in Nevada last weekend couldn’t get away from people finally found a spot about 50 miles away against the Jackson mountains nice little creek going through the campsite I could see forever the only thing that I saw was wild horses great weekend. So thanks for another great video
Another great adventure! I'm with you ... just find places to go, that's how you start an adventure. Doesn't have to be meticulously planned!
Living about 20 miles out of Christmas Valley we love jeering around this country. Love living here.

Always enjoy your videos Casey. Great work 🤙🏽
Love those gnarly old juniper trees and surrounding flats since I grew up hunting mulies and antelope in that kind of country. To make it even better, we often hunted using an ‘83 CJ-7 Renegade.
Thankyou Casey for a awesome great new video. It’s great seeing you. Please keep them coming. You all take care and be safe.
Great video again like always. :) great to see you again
Casey i learned something in that when you are out looking at those old sites, you should take a metal Detector and find where the old outhouses were. Search around where the old outhouses were because that's where coins and what-not falls out of pockets. Just a thought.
thanks for sharing with us!! after a long cold winter its great to get back out & enjoy the sunset!!!
Another great video. Good idea to move the campsite! Guns and booze is just trouble.
Thank you for taking us with you on this last adventure. I would have moved my camp also. I like all the cool stuff you find out there.
Casey! Great video , I think you made the right decision to move camp. Thanks for taking me along Orlando.
Don't blame you never worried about wildlife when remote camping but people you never know.
Another fantastic adventure. I totally identify with your "go with the flow" philosophy. Some of the best adventures are accidental or having to solve a unique problem. It's just amazing how big our state is and hard to imagine until you get out there and see the miles and miles of beautiful terrain. Thanks for sharing.
10 out of 10 my friend awesome publication. Thanks for making my Sunday afternoon just that much more exciting. God bless you always Casey. 🔥😎
Always a great adventure in the Oregon Outback!
Great trip!
Pretty cool video...thanks for sharing Casey!
Thanks for sharing and taking us along
In terrain like that I take a compass bearing and then plot a course back at 180 degrees. Spam and eggs for me.
hash and eggs and coffee - superb meal while camping.
I would've moved camp also.. never know better safe than sorry.. the 2nd camp spot was awesome.. I'd definitely would head marked that on my map ..
Wow, what an interesting and fun trip that was. Great find of that homestead.

I think Libby's corned beef hash is the best one
Awesome episode. I started watching on my break at work and finally finished at home. It was a bummer those guys drive you out but it worked out it looks like. That homestead looked awesome man and that ink well was amazing. I'm getting my RTT soon and I'll have to test it out.
I love it when you say 'I don't get wrapped round the axel about it'...my favorite Casey quote! The roast beef hash looks good..I love corn-beef hash with eggs!! And I don't know how you do the ice coffees..it's gotta be hot!!! Thanks for the video!

Great adventure! Thanks for sharing. Like your mobile protection. Beautiful country. Love the old trees. Have a great week!
Awesome find on the old inkwell! Just imagine the old cattle man writing to his loved one's 100yrs ago! Great work casey!
Awesome!👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
I love it when things don’t work out they actually are a blessing in disguise. That happens to me quite often. I wish we had places like that around here to explore. I’m really bummed about gas prices because I really wanted to do some traveling this summer to explore more. I still have a couple of trips planned though. Looks like a nice little weekend getaway Casey. Cheers my friend. 💋❤️

Hey Casey… seems like forever since you posted a new vid. I’ve been binge watching past posts to get my fix. Definitely the right move to pack up and move on, never know what people are capable of, best keep clear. Love the vid as usual, thanks for sharing. Love from a brother across the pond in the UK.
Yay!
This is why I appreciate this channel so much. When your out there anything can happen, even some rowdy guys showing up next to you. Always love watching you adventures. We came across our first obvious either homestead or mining camp last weekend. We had to make sure to reference you haha
Never had the roast beef hash but had corned beef hash by the truck load, one of my favs.thanks for the vid
Nice adventure!! I really like when you find those monster junipers and all the other stuff!
Excellent adventure, so glad you moved your camp site. Love the homestead site, and to find a ink well unbroken is amazing, awesome find. My grandma used to make the corn beef hash with eggs to. Mighty good eats. Keep up those adventures because you are most interesting to watch and are so knowledgeable on all the history and finds on your adventures. As always God Bless and keep safe and I will watch out for your next adventure.

That looks like a interesting and fun adventure. Awesome video Casey. I do like your new handgun and that 10mm is a excellent caliber, one of my favorite pistol rounds.
Nice adventure 🤠 !
All of those cans I wonder how many were filled with corned beef hash and chili with beans? LOL what a great find! I have been eating corned beef hash since the mid forties!
purinia dog chow tasted pretty good back when i was 3 or four
Great exploration.

Gotta love idiots, you made a good decision to move
A metal detector would be useful in those old homestead sites. Especially the burned one, there could be coins or jewelry there
You can probably relate to this thought... You got the whole world to explore and y'all wanna camp 500yrds from me lol Great video even though we didn't get to see the old moonshine still 😃
Great video brother, definitely found a treasure trove of sites.
Never let anyone know (document) firearms you may or may not carry. Things like that have a way of coming back to bite you when you least expect it. We all know what the deal is, keep everyone else guessing! Good video I enjoy our treks together.
Great to see another video of you out camping and exploring. Never thought about it before but night vision equipment would have been very helpful for moving camp and slipping away without being detected and then setting up another camp.
@CoyoteWorks01

Thank you. Yes I would really like to get a nice set of night vision googles. Would be a nice addition and open up the chances for exploring at night as well.
Great as usual. Good call on moving to a different camp. Still hoping for the video on your food bag that's in your inch pack.
Some auxiliary lighting is in order for those times when you need them. I did a simple fairly inexpensive Rough Country light bar and it’s made a world of difference.
Love your videos Casey’s! Be cool if you did a Canada adventure or tours

@@djloberg Things aren't really bad in the US unless you are in a major city. Out in the country, everyone is looking to get out, have fun and everyone has a different way to do it. Casey was acting a bit overdramatic about this. Lol It's good to trust your gut but it does make content for a video I guess.
Lol, I was just thinking, man I haven't seen anything from Coyote works for awhile. I Was wondering if you fell sick and was okay. Thanks for the video.
