Bec's Jeep LJ build continues! Now that we know we'll be performing an LS swap, the next step in this Jeep Wrangler overhaul is stretching the chassis and getting started on the wiring!

    Saw the license plate on the Lj. Tell Beck i participated in and won my class in 2017, at the keeneland concourse d'Elegance! Jeep lookin so sick. Great work!

    If you haven't already seen dirt lifestyle I'd give him a watch too. He does a lot of cool stuff. His tdi tj and 1 ton land cruiser builds are amazing.

    The amount of measurements, number crunching and then modifications to the frame, along with wiring option considerations / changes, (what will work with what), keeping it all square and level; is a display of what brain activity olympics, might look like, if there was such an event. 😊

    Lol that frame isn't bad at all my 02 TJ was held together by the dirt and mud. That thing had more holes than a block of Swiss cheese..

    Super job! How nice to have all the tools, equipment and a beautiful helper! I rebuilt a 1961 Willis Jeep when I was sixteen years old from the shackle bolts up under primitive conditions, including using an old swing set I modified to pull the engine for a complete rebuild with a come along. You've got a sweet shop. Thanks for sharing.

    L/B. There's nothing wrong with Bec's rear end-keep it flowing folks ! By adding 10" to the chassis length, will her LJ keep up with the D2a ? V.

    Wow! What a project you two are doing! You’ve inspired me. My car needs to have some work done. I was going to pay an actual mechanic to do it. Folks on a forum for my car recommend not doing this particular repair yourself. But now I’ve decided to do it myself…thanks! If it doesn’t go well you’ll be hearing from me (kidding).

    Looking great! Bec, I knew there was a reason you’re one of my favorite KZreadrs. You’re a Cubs fan! I’ve been a fan since Ron Santo was playing for them. I have one of his bats that he gave me along with an autographed ball. Those two things are one of my most prized possessions. Even more so than my first trophy buckle from when I rode bulls.     Keeping the A/C in the computer is good so it knows to add air and timing to the motor when the A/C comes on.
