So what would cause the clutch to never disengage? I pulled that fuse and my ac clutch disengaged, but when I put it back in the ac clutch stayed engaged constantly, whether the ac was on or off. Same engine and vehicle as you have here.

It could be many reasons stuck on relay stuck compressor and pressure not normal

How would I know if the 10amp fuse is blown ? Or would I just need to buy a replacement to tell? Just asking at 10pm lol Edit: just went outside and switched the fuses with my horn fuse. Horn works fine so I assume the 2 ac fuses are fine. Couldn’t find any leaks and there was no gas in the low valve. It’s been 2 years since I last noticed a “leak” so I need to check it again with dye probably another time .

Use a test light to test it u can also use volt meter check continuity or hold it up Against the light to see if the contact is blown inside

Had a quick question..... I have a 2014 jeep grand cherokee and I pressure washed under the hood without motor running. Got inside drove a few and the radio went black and ac blows ice cold air for about 30 to 45 seconds and then converts to defrost hot only. I shut the ac off and the two defrost are laminated for about 5 minutes then the they shut off. I can then turn it back on for ice cold air for about another 30 to 45 seconds. This is continuous. Along with radio still not on at all. Does it sound like a bad relay?

It could be anything water in wires fuses relay try checking it out but next time never pressure wash

@@dustinrohr3619 well bad relay can cause fans to cut off so it really depends if ur fans are not working how ever check ur coolant level and check for leaks and also check fan fuse

@@headhuncho9 I've always pressure washed under the hood of my cars. I've just always had them running when I do. I didn't start this time for some reason. I've never had a problem. My brother and father were both master mechanics and they would do the same. But they have passed.

I have a 2018 and my ac clutch is stuck engaged car is off I pull the fuse and I can hear the clutch disengage, and when I put the fuse back and I can hear it reengage

Try checking Freon and see if it got relay somthing that can be jammed

What if the a/c compressor comes on and it’s blowing fine just blowing hot?

If ac compressor come on and blows hot it’s either you have hot air pressure which will come the system to come on but no Freon to make it cold so glance the system reserviced peopperly with ac machine recover vaccum and then charge the system. … also check to see if ur low ac Line is cold. Because it can be bad blend door motor stuck on heat side and ur system is making cold but door is close check that before anything

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, air blows hard and all setting work and read the right temps, I had the a/c “low pressure I think ”line replaced a month ago, but when I picked it up they had to recharge it on spot, and it stopped blowing cold 3 weeks later

@@RBTheMechanic low a/c line is wrapped in 3000 heat wrap because it’s against my headers…. That’s how this shop did it..
