You deserve the hoist, man. It's hard for men to accept that we deserve nice things when we can get by with what we have. I'm 50 this year and just bought a vehicle that wasn't a hooptie for the first time. My wife had to convince me, and even after 2 weeks, I still feel guilty for having something so nice.

Welcome to Manasquan Inlet! That clam boat was lowering its stabilizers to keep it… well “stabile” in the sea as she broke the inlet.

Stabilizers you can turn over in the inlet with seas as they make your balance off. They drop the heavy birds in the water and it smooths the ride out. They work good

My father had the same type of steel file cabinet for his workshop. Probably acquired from work. They really are built like tanks! After he unfortunately transitioned to nursing care, I had to clear out his workshop of 50 years. I pulled the extremely heavy file cabinet and many other items to the driveway and placed a "Free" sign by the road. It was gone in no time. Days later, while working in the yard, a nice woman pulled over to tell me that her husband had picked up the file file cabinet for use in his own garage. She wanted to express their gratitude, knowing how hard it must have been for me to display my father's life out in the driveway. I couldn't have been happier knowing this young man has my father's cabinet and put it to use!

I got too feeling guilty cuz the guy I bought from said hed taken it to several mechanics dumped 1200 into it and it still ran bad. So I went back to him and told him id give it back to him for 1200 (what I paid) he said nah. I loved that thing!

My first everyday car when I got my license was a soft-top Jeep cj7. This was probably about a year after the CW McCall song CJ5 came out. 3-speed manual - 304 V8 - I had to get out to lock the hubs for four-wheel drive. 16-year-olds should not have cj7's ! The main thing I remember is that my parents would not let me get aggressive wheels and tires. I guess they figured it was easier to keep me off of the heavy trails that way. Thanks for your updates. entertaining, as always!

"Hey man I need a lift to town. Nice Jeep, drop me off right here, Thanks Know Nonsense Man!!! " Alright, you got a lift!! Awesome!! that will save you from permanent back injuries. I saw the lift and tackle wrapped around the beam there. I would weld in a track from one wall to the next. You can then install an electric hoist to pull engines and transmissions. That would the safer, and better way to pull engines.

👍👌👏 Congratulations 🎉 for purchasing this amazing car lift. It really looks brand new. You deserved such a device for a long time. The new workshop is coming together well. I was glad to see that you put on fire protection everywhere. 2) The ol' Jeep gets a lot of TLC. I'm eagerly looking forward to watch the next part. I guess I know why you like the car so much. Nothing respectively not much to worry about. It's because of the same reasons why you love some of your cheap boats so much (I especially liked the versatile Glasstream Bass Dumpster). Some scratches more will be no problem. 3) Of course do we all love cute little Gus 💚 very much! He is simply adorable. 4) I'm eagerly looking forward to your trip to Phoenix. Hope that you will be able to purchase a great car. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all 4 of you.

Your comment about going to the parts store for belts reminded me of the time my dad spent time at a gas station in McDermitt OR looking through all the belts in a service station to finally find one that fit the Dodge pickup we were in. Even today the many miles before that are still some of the sparsest populated space you will find. At the time it was possible to drive pretty much all the way from Idaho to Nevada and not see a single other vehicle. He did find a belt that worked, not the "correct" size. But close enough.

Oh man, that garage is awesome! I'm jealous. I am just a novice mechanic, but I still wish I had a nice area and all the tools to make it easier and more fun to do. Maybe someday.

I'm glad to see you putting some love into the cj. Iv had 4 over the years,,it's important to keep the right Exhaust pressure on the 4.2 I let that go and had trouble with the spark plugs Not oil fowl But a white crusty Ash build.. New muffler no leaks that went away..

That strut on the driver's side roll bar is missing. Olt clunkers like that are a lot of fun. Maybe you can take the Jeep to AZ and do a bit of desert exploring?
