@@ThinkersImpossible it is not , my fault would be if i didn’t give my best if i took unnecessary breaks just for fun. My fault would be not studying enough not giving tests and not working hard enough. But no i did give my best and i couldn’t give more than that. I believe exams are there to test your strength not to judge it , missing cut off by some marks is a testimony of how hard i worked and i refuse to let someone put down my efforts. I am self content and i don’t have regrets and i hope to stay that way. Luck is something too you can top an exam you didn’t study for with luck and fail one that you did study for because of luck.

Just a genuine advice times have changed i have a really close friend she got into iit last year she had the same rank as you and she got civil engineering in iit roorkee and now she is planning to drop out because she is not able to do it.....if you are not interested in lower branches don't go for it because times have changed skills matter IIT's don't guarantee a safe future now the fight is real go for branches that you really want....

Bro I am also a dropper in mains i scored 99.2 percentile and got 12 k rank idk what happened to me in the centre no ac no cooler fan almost dead at my side so my mind did not work properly I done some silly mistakes i secure 105 marks not qualified gen 🥺🥺 I prepared very hard in my drop year but when I saw result I cried a lot so don't take drop my suggestion because any thing can happen

Bro, recently I graduated from nit by the so-called lower branch. But believe me, it's better I took the branch and now I am in a psu.. So if you get a lower branch... Don't worry you can still do a lot of things with that branch especially... Metallurgy and mining branch.

Better to improve the result next year than go to a mediocre college this year. You have got a lot of scope for improvement if you take a drop year I'd highly suggest you to do it. Although if you're happy with the current results then go ahead for your options!
