Jedz Moto Custom build: 1982 Suzuki GS300
Hi all thanks for turning in! This was my vacation project! This a $50 Suzuki GS300 I picked up and decided to shoe horn a 448cc in. 2008 Suzuki GSX650F charging system with Li-ion batrery, GS750 front brake with stainless line with GS500 master cylinder, 530 X-ring chain conversion, 450 front end swap, fueling the 448cc I-2 DOHC unit is twin Mikuni VM34 carbs (34mm). Very powerful setup, a bit rough but plenty of power! Runs good and is ready to eat up the VT road dirt and paved alike!

When u say charging system ? Do u mean cdi
Hey does the 450 front wheel fit on the 300 forks without any modifications?

No. The 300 is drum so you need a 450 front end to make the 450 disc brake work with the 450 front run.

@@Jedz123 I know the 300 is drum I was just hoping I could take the wheel on the 450 and it would still fit on the 300 forks and I could add a reservoir to the handlebar for the disc brake. I’m having a hard time finding a front brake cable for the 300. My current one is broken.

@@yc7175 your 300 forks don't have the Caliper mounts like the 450 so you can't install a disc brake unless you replace the forks.

@@Jedz123 Do you know if any other Suzuki models around that year with drum brakes would share the same front brake cable? All front brake cables are out of stock for the 1982 gs300l and I can’t ride it without brakes
